As im feeling a bit better today i thought i would 'celebrate' by having a glass of wine and the only thing that prevented me from pouring a glass was that i really wanted to complete this weeks SNC as ive failed miserably over the last wee while. So big thanks to the lovely bearacus and shaggy for keeping the challenges going. :T:T

Wow, loads of good scores being put up today - well done everyone!

I was going to take the easy route and not tell you all but honesty is important in our relationship! Worked v late and then back to London starving and tired. Sprint out for takeaway about 10pm and decide to join OH in some wine. OH probably two bottles ahead of me! I agonise. I debate, both in my head and out loud with OH. Eventually (well a couple of minutes later) I think s*d it and I take a gulp It was disgusting. I admit it, I drank some, about a teaspoon or so - so there goes a chance to put in another SNC.

Still at least that's all I had tonight, I looked longingly at the spirits on the bookcase and saw sense and told myself not to be so stoopid!

Still on 3 SNC and 3/13 - what a waste.

Love that Miss-Piggy-Mobile although I think it needs a feather boa!

WBF - I had a very similar experience Monday. Lost an AFD for a couple of mouthfuls of cider. Oh well, we are changing, we decided not to continue when we realised we weren't enjoying it.
Ruth - I echo what the others have said - see another doctor.
Mackeroo - well done on resisting!

I am on 7 afd in August and I made my 3 snc.

WBF - don't beat yourself up over it, it's only a technicality. The point is your attitude is changing, and it's another night your liver doesn't have to spend processing booze while you're asleep.

I'm not sure what's going to happen with me tonight, the only time I've had an AF friday is if I've had the flu. But I am going to be drinking tomorrow I think so I may try and see if I can do it tonight, I feel like I'm on a bit of a roll. Have a good day everyone!

WBF, I really don't think you can count that as a drinking day. In fact what you did is far more commendable than not drinking at all in my book, it was very easy for you to continue in s*d it mode but you were stronger than that, well done!

Didn't do too well on my first day, but I have decided this evening I will be cutting my intake down and tomorrow in preparation for an AFD on sunday (first one for about 8 months :eek:)
