Entertaining the five of us for a week won't be cheap so thats a massive boost. Me and mum have cashed in our tesco vouchers for theme park tickets and eden project tickets so a large proportion of days out are already paid for. Roll on the holiday....only a week to go!!:T

That's brilliant MissP, and I expect a fair bit of that is wine money:T Are you planning to go to Flambards? It's well worth a visit. They have great 'educational' parts and it would be perfectly safe to let the step-children off around the rides on their own while you're looking at the Victorian village etc.
Well done on ignoring bells!
I'm out for dinner tonight so planning a drink but have a good evening everyone.0 -

Hi Maman!
Yes, Flambards is one of our planned trips!:) Sounds good fun and, like you say, the older ones can always !!!!!! off and do thier own thing!:D
Yes, part of that is wine money. A few times I've resisted the urge and then popped £4-£5 in the pot. Gratifying to know its all added up!:T

How many points a day can you have on WW, mackeroo? And you are talking about real wine, not that WW stuff?
Oh jeez no im not talking about the WW stuff, its not very nice and the ironic thing is its only 2 points less that the non WW wine, so its a no brainer really :rotfl:Points are worked out on your height and current weight, when i started in Jan i got 38 points a day and as ive lost over 3 stones now im down to 32 points a day (the least you can have is 29) but on top of this everyone gets an extra 49 points to use up every week. I like this as it means i can enjoy special occasions eg meals out, drinkies without worrying about not having the points for it. WW works for me, i like its flexibility and once you get your head round the points system its pretty easy to follow. You've done brillantly so far maman. Ive got a stone to go to goal. Aiming to get there for XmasIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -

Good evening.
Before I forget, Miss Piggy, this website https://www.seelivedo.co.uk has got half price tickets for Flambards.
I've been a stress monster all day, I got upa t 6 to take DS to the skateboard park, he's not very good at it and won't go when there are other people there because he says he gets in their way and they shout at him, so I said we'd go early so he could have the place to himself for a while. First skate down a ramp and he fell over quite dramatically and wanted to come home, so I'd had a rubbish night's sleep, a stupidly early morning for what's meant to be a holiday, and no happy boy which was the treat I'd been looking forward to after the early start.
Long story short I took him and his friend swimming and agreed that the friend could sleep over. However after being pestered all day for 'stuff' I exploded in Sainsburys and shouted very loudly that I wasn't a bl**dy cash machine.
Could have easily demolished a bottle of wine but am making do with diet lemonade and Andre Agassi's autobiography.
However, I am pleased that I've made it through the day without drinking, and will make it through tomorrow too.
*sigh*Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
no more af days to report for me as I went out for a friend's 40th last night and had a glass of wine and am going to have two glasses tonight but everyone is doing really well on here. Having a really busy night at work 4-11pm today and have had a full day with the kids before that-we went to the beach pool, then to a friend's for lunch and then the library so haven't stopped! however I havent put my daily exercise session in and feel like I'm getting withdrawel symptoms! Mrs R-don't try and make yourself do anything when the baby's asleep-go and have a kip yourself-you need to make up the hours. Take care of yourself.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18
