    Morning All!! :D

MissP - Sounds like you've got a busy day ahead of you. Have fun at the gym.

Still here. Contractions started about 5.30pm. At the moment they are about 15 mins apart, so I got loads of sleep last night! Don't think it'll be long now............

    Have a happy Tuesday :D

    MrsR xx

I think you may have a much busier day ahead of you!!:rotfl:Good Luck, we'll be thinking of you and hope everything goes quickly and smoothly.

Welcome Polly:wave: There's a lovely crowd on this thread and if you want to do something about your drinking then you've come to the right place. I'd be lying if I didn't say it needs determination on your part but you'll get all the advice, understanding, support and good wishes you could possibly need to help you on your way. You've obviously proved that you can go without a drink if you really want to so that's an excellent start. Where would you like to be? Giving up/cutting down/to what sort of level? If you have a vague plan then that's a good starting point.

I had two glasses (planned, at least one of them was;)) with my lunch out on the IOW yesterday and pleased myself by not carrying on later in the evening. Back firmly on wagon today, I want to get three more days in this month.

I've no idea again, but it's good to see so many people doing so well. I'm on summer holidays now for 6 weeks. Probably been hammered twice in July (and one of those was a stag do). I haven't kept count, but I've been AF more than half of the days so far. Not sure what happened, but I just sometimes don't drink!
Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?

18 AFDS for me please shaggy. Welcome Polly-this is a great place to help you to cut down/give up drinking. I was drinking too much-getting through a bottle and a half on weekend nights and feeling horrendous and guilty about it and the thread has made me cut down on the number of nights I do drink-I used to unwind with a couple of glasses of wine on a week night and I've cut that down and I've also stopped the wine binging-I still drink at weekend but I really think about how much I am drinking now. Mrs R how exciting for you-hope to hear your good news soonx
