Morning :hello:
Final night of the Full Monty for me please Mackeroo!
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I keep thinking that all the calories I save from not drinking wine most definately must compensate for the chocolate nibbles - my thighs tell me this isn't the case though.Trying to keep in budget.

Morning All!! I'm back!!
It feels like ages since I've been here, about 10 days I think, but it seems that it's been pretty quiet so I guess there have been a lot of holidays and stuff going on in RL.
I've just been so busy at work and at home that I haven't had the chance to log on. Although that should change for the next few weeks as today is My last day at work :j
So I plan to be logging on a bit more often to offer lots of support to you all
Have a happy friday y'all!!

Have you been doing a mrsrainman dance, by any chance? You can stop now, please
Well I'm knackered, been up since 5.30 attempting to buy olympic tix. What a shambles. zzzzz. In normal circumstances would I be desperate to pay £45 to see hockey? I doubt it. Oh well, have no idea if it has even worked, system crashed as I was paying.
18 for me thanks Shaggy.

Hi 5 afds for me please shaggy. Hoping that i may make it to 11 afds for the month because I've decided not to drink this weekend-I really am far too fat tummied for my liking at the moment and need to shift the weight so that my clothes fit! Have bought myself some low calorie fiery ginger beer to drink this evening and it's lush-have polished off a big glass already. Welcome back mrs r-yay to finishing work now! Good timing too as we are supposed to be having a heat wave-hope you are putting your feet up.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Hi all
Good to see you back bearacus – hope you had a lovely restful holiday and that all is as well as can be with your Mum.
And good to see you too mrsrainman – three cheers for maternity leave:j:j:j….make sure you get plenty of rest before baby bump arrives (I bet everyone’s saying that to you).
AF last night so 13 AFD’s please Shaggy and 4 for the SNC please Mackeroo
It’s the weekend and with it goes the security of keeping to the SNC for another few days. I’m truly loving being AF on work days (the exception being the odd day when I’m entertaining clients on a works do), I’m two months into this now and can see that abstaining on week days could become a way of life. I used to drink up to 5 Bacardi’s a night (home measures so doubles at least) and can honestly say that I have absolutely no desire to slip back into that dark place. I do however really enjoy a drink at the weekends and I sit here now at 7.00pm on Friday knowing that anytime now I’m going to pour myself the first of several because 'I can’ and ‘I deserve to’.... - Do I want to? I think so, but not totally sure...... - Do I have to have to? No.... - Will I feel better if I have a drink? No, but I will feel rewarded (for what???)
I’m just rambling really but I think what I’m beginning to see is that I my next challenge needs to be to stop having a drink just because the week is over and 'I can'. Not sure I’m ready to go there just yet….but I've a feeling that day is not far off!!
My holiday is coming up in a couple of weeks and I know I will drink every day, not binge drinking but certainly a drink or three at dinner and possibly a long cool one with lunch…if I’m honest that’s all part of the holiday for me….but what about when I get back?…will I slip back into my daily drinking ways? Argghhh I could really have done with another month or two of AFness under my belt before I test myself back on daily drinking.
Sorry that’s quite a heavy and long post …just needed to let it all out.
Anyway enough of that…well done to everyone on your AFness this week…you are all an inspiration to me :A… have a fantastic weekend xxLBM Aug '07 Debt [STRIKE]£52,615[/STRIKE] DEBT FREE Aug '12 :jCap One CC £[STRIKE]5000[/STRIKE]/£0 - HSBC CC £[STRIKE]7500[/STRIKE]/£0 - HSBC Loan £[STRIKE]12,225[/STRIKE]/£0M&S CC £[STRIKE]11,500[/STRIKE]/£0 - Egg CC £[STRIKE]8750[/STRIKE]/£0 - Sains CC £[STRIKE]3000[/STRIKE]/£0HMRC £[STRIKE]3140[/STRIKE]/£0 - OD £[STRIKE]1500[/STRIKE]/£0Pay off ALL your debt by Xmas 2012 £14,128/£14,128 :j0 -
Thankyou Mackeroo for being a star and for doing the challenge for the last few weeks :T It really has been a big help. I will take back over the SNC this week coming and give you a well earned rest :A
My holiday really was amazing and just what I needed so thankyou to everyone from here who encouraged me to go !
A little note about my mum
My mums operation actually got moved forward while I was away ( I was in pieces) so she has had her mastectomy and glands removed on the 17th. She was in hospital 1 night and they were so pleased with her they sent her homeShe had to go back in to have drains removed but again the dr was really pleased with her recovery. We now have to wait 6 weeks before they can start her chemo but she is doing amazingly well. She was so pleased I went on my holiday and didnt cancel and we are just looking ahead and taking it a day at a time x She is so positive after her op and Im just so proud of her :A
So enough about me (blah blah blah) and back to the AF. Will be drinking tonight and then off it on sunday.
