What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Hi everyone-hope you've all been well. I've just returned from 2 weeks away and can now say I've had 3 afds so far this month having drank every day for two weeks on holiday. I've now upholstered myself with an extra 5lbs that i am desparate to get rid of but not all of it was alcohol related as we went to Italy and ate pasta, pizza and icecream. I'm now back on the straight and narrow almost-I'm not drinking tonight but will be tomorrow as it's Dh birtday but then i'm doing the rosemary conley fat attack fortnight so will be off booze for 2 weeks. I need to as I feel really blobby!

I was AF last night, making 12 please Shaggy and 1 for the SNC please Mackeroo. DS7 came home from school with a tummy bug and was up most of the night being sick. Surprisingly I didn't fall alseep at work today. Off out to bingo in a bit, but not planning on drinking.

21 AFD please Shaggy. Although it is generally easier, I am still really struggling with bells. I have nearly broke a few times, which is pretty poor as I haven't been on this journey for very long. Oh well. Hope everyone else is okay. x

I know that feeling. I'm struggling a bit too. Especially as My OH is being a bit of a...tries to think of suitable word without swearing.....erm.....40 year old selfish teenager!

He would rather sit round playing stupid shooting games than interact with me and is not being overly helpful around the house. I have a full time job and he lost his job last year (made redundant) and has reverted back to being about 15!! Grrr - Ok rant over. Can I have a drink now? No I can't ...oh !!!!!!!!!! Also worked out the next 2 months are going to be tight moneywise!

I don't know what to do this weekend as we are going to a friend's childs christening followed by a party and have already being told I can get drunk, go on the bouncy castle with the kids, then have a kip for a few hours (what I did 5 years ago at their wedding)!!:o
I would like a sensible drink if offered, but also love my no drinking tally.

    So my totals are:
21 days this month please Shaggy
    43 days in a row
  • Checking in before I go to bed. That's 2af for the full monty challenge. :j

I didn't end up sleeping great last night and slept in this morning!! Nightmare! DH is away, so I had to get two kids ready for school/nursery and me ready for work in double quick time. Haven't felt to tired today though :D

My only wobble was when I first got in tonight. Kids started screaming at one another, the youngest cried because he didn't like what was for dinner. I so nearly said "sod it" and reach for the wine. But I knew it wouldn't make anything better and that I would be sooooo angry with myself. So hurrah, another day :D
    Need to start again :o
