Thanks for your kind words and thoughts, I think I needed a bit of a boost today. I also needed to remember to keep things in perspective and not become overwhelmed by "stuff"
The day was not all bad, I had a positive meeting with my direct line manager who is very pleased with the work that I have been doing. I have moved my tax rebate application along (4 years outstanding), I have moved my passport application along, (laborious), submitted my college application and just realised that I am owed some ppi money that I had forgotten about. I shall head over to the ppi forum shortly.
I do have much to be thankful for, it sometimes gets a bit forgotten with the cloak of self pity that I choose to wear at times.
Thank you all once again, and good luck with your challenges

Hello everyone, i haven't posted on here since last december as i lost motivation. Things have been ok ish bt i'm still drinking far more than i should, so decided to come back for help.

I'm planning on AF's as much as possible. Lately my body hurts, i'm worried i'll have a heart attack and my liver seems to hurt most of the time, but i'm too scared to go to the doctor as i function in life perfectly well. I'm hoping with a few days of Af under my belt the pains will subside and i'll feel better.

So to make a start 2 SNC please is my aim.

My mum has had issues with alcohol and was told by her doc to cut back and actually stop drinking for a month, she's been 6 weeks now and i feel guilty that i haven't done that with her. She said the first 3 weeks were hardest and now she doesnt want to go back. She doesn't know about me or my concerns as i dont want to worry her.

Please can someone help, i've been awake since 1.30am worrying about this. I've made a cuppa and a slice of toast and taken all the alcohol out of the fridge and put them in the back of the cupboard.

I really ought to go back to bed now.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

welcomewagon.gif Hey cuppa tea - you can join the remainder of the May Challenge if you like. There are 7 nights up for grabs :)

How about starting a spread sheet to note down how many units you are drinking? I find that helps me.

    Take Care
