Hi there, thanks for that tip shaggy i remember you saying that before, its harder to ignore the facts when they are black and white in front of you.
I will join the challenge and fingers crossed succeeed. Please put me down for the 7 days left. I am glad i came back its made me feel accountable again.
I'm off to tesco later to buy some sweets for when i get that craving, i think a lot of it is to do with sugar, hunger and emotions - the usual triggers really.
Good luck everyone for today.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
20 please, Shaggy - one more to go and I get the red smiley!!
I'm OK now during the week, very rarely get any bells clanging nowadays, whereas they used to start on Wednesdays. It's true that it doesn't happen overnight, it's taken 2 years to change my habits. Still working on the Saturday binge though ...
Have a good day, everybody.0 -
Morning everyone, I feel a bit brighter today, have slept in, so definately a late start at work today. Oh well, I am off work after today until next Tuesday. Going away on Friday for a few days to a festival and then my lodgers move in when I get back. I really will need to give Evolution Cottage a flick round with a duster before I head off. The look of neglect is palpable.
One of you kind posters mentioned doing little tasks, my next "little" task is to reclaim some mis-sold ppi on some long forgotten credit cards. I suspect it totals a few grand over the last 10 years, heres hoping. I managed to reclaim £3k last year on an old loan. When I think back to the amount of money financial institutions made from me I could spit. But, no longer living in the past.
Welcome back Cuppa Tea
Maman, I have thrown the cloak of self pity to the ground and stamped on it.
Have a great day y'all

Just checking-in. Nothing new to report in the Rainman household. MrR knows how I feel about the situation, but as he said to me the other day, nothing I can say will make a difference, he has to stop on his own.
Hope you all have a good day

Evening all, how has everyones day been? I have been quite productive - have started the ball rolling with re-claiming some mis-sold ppi. Moving my claim against my ex husband along - would like to think the 10k he owes me will appear soon, but slowly slowly catchy monkey. I am practising my new found patience - harder than I thought. I think I am finding it quite distressing to put myself in a victim role, but financial abuse always has a winner and a loser as far as I can see.
Ah well, I will just have to be more vigilant in any future relationships wont I!
Enjoy the rest of your evening all, Mrs Rainman, take care of you and the fruit of your womb.
