I've always enjoyed art...I'm not brilliant at it but have great fun doing a bit of face painting on the kids. I think I could develop this and improve my skills... I wonder if I could take it up as a sideline business. Thats a scary thought though. I wouldn't know where o start (public liability insurance, tax etc). Might have a nosey around the site (small business thread?)? Wouldn't that be wonderful? I would love to do that. Wonder how much in demand they are?

In the meantime I could practice, practice on the kids and nieces/nephews? Maybe take pictures of them to build a portfolio should I decided to give it a whirl...

Beckseven - your work nurse sounds like a very lovely, supportive healthcare professional (NOT). Did you give one of these..:p...when her back was turned? What can I say, I never quite grew up :D?

A mahoosive well done to everyone on here for all of your achievements. I hope that you are all very proud of yourselves. The fact that you are all part of this thread is a huge achievement. You are all important.

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!

Hello folks! I'm home from my course, with brainache through information overload, not wine for a change! I managed to resist the hotel bar by going to bed at 8.30 with a book! So tonight puts me on 18 please Shaggy.

Hi all, I need to join in again, if nobody minds.

I am completely not on track at the moment, nothing major has happened but I'm not AF consistently. Body is bloated, skin is terrible and my mood is not too pretty.

So I my feeble aim is to fit in one AF day this week and one next week to make it 2 for the month.

Hope everyone is getting on ok tonight. Pen x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
  • I was tempted to ask what is in chapter 7 because I am nosey, impetuous and impatient, but I think I shall just enjoy being on chapter 6 for the time being :rotfl:

    Using The Serenity Prayer.

    God grant me the serenity
    to accept the things I cannot change;

    15 AFDs please, Shaggy
3 for the SNC, please, Bearacus

Been out tonight with friends, all seemed to be drinking wine, some lovely bottles appeared, but I wasn't even tempted, I chose to drive, but not even tempted to think s*d it when I got home and open a bottle, like I would have done at one time.

Of course we don't mind, it's great to have you back Pen. I approve of the small steps, we all have to start somewhere. You can do it!

Back on the wagon for me tonight. That's 8 AF for May please Shaggy and 2 for the SNC Bearacus.
