    Afternoon all

Friday evening (almost) at last! Has felt like a very long week and I'm not sorry the weekends here!

Won't be AF tonight. But it is planned and I have only bought a certain amount so can't go overboard.

    Hope everyone has good fridays!

    Miss P

Hurrah it's Friday-but I'm working until 11 tonight and Saturday and Sunday. 10 afds for me please Shaggy and 4 for the SNC please Bearacus. I'm not going to be alcohol free tonight as I'm going to have a couple of glasses of wine when I've finished my shift. I've got a 3 mile charity walk with my two kids who are 5 and 2 tomorrow am so I need to be bright and breezy. Have a great weekend everyone.

I wasn't AF yesterday, went to a funeral and consumed a few too many at the wake afterwards. It just means that I have used up my weekend drinking 'allowance' a day early, so none for me this weekend. Don't fancy it anyway as I'm still feeling a bit carp this afternoon.

Long long time no speak. Most won't have a clue who I am but I recognise a couple of names!

Today I opened up to someone about the fact that I hadn't drunk in 19 months odd. They asked me if I had done it on my own and I replied that I had been part of an internet forum.

Was thinking about it more later and relaised that I didn't do it alone I did it due to all you guys past, present and future!

So I logged on to say a quick THANKS. XX

Hope everyone is where they want to be.

Evening all, very quiet here tonight, guess everyone else is out having Friday night (AF!) fun! I'm having an early one as doing the Moonwalk tomorrow. AF again, so 13 for May please Shaggy, and SNC completed Bearacus.

Hello 365days, I wasnot around when you used to post regularly, but just wanted to say, 19 months is fantastic, and an inspiration when I'm not even at 19 days yet. Any tips?

Got through Friday night (Friday and Saturday nights are my most tempted) so really happy.

So 5 alcohol free days and was that a schoolnight?

365 days - well done. I'm hoping to be able to say the same. You must feel so good and have saved loads.

    Hi there,

I remember you, well done on 19 months, that's really good. I just logged in to check in for the first time in a couple of months and couldn't read and run when I saw your post!! Well done!!

Since I stopped posting on here I've been adjusting to having a new job with a much longer commute and I've been very tired. I have gone overboard on drinking on weekends/bank holidays but not during the week now I'm driving each day. I wanted to let you all know I was still alive and still doing about the same on the boozing, so there's still room for improvement!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to log-in on here regularly in the coming weeks and months but I am thinking of you on here from time to time and wish you all good luck with this.
