. Thanks Maggie
Sorry you're feeling no better maggiesoop. I sometimes get similar pain (you have my sympathy, it's agonising). I find that 4 hourly doses of Ibuprofen and Co-codamol works best for me. The latter dulls the pain while the other is sorting out the muscle. And a hot water bottle on the spot helps too.
This isn't medical advice;) just what works for me.0 -

AFD No. 2 please!
Not finding it too difficult yet. Although tomorrow night is one of my weak spots. I've always liked a glass of wine on a Thursday. I tend to be quite weak willed in the supermarket - in that I'll go to the supermarket for something else entirly and just "happen" to pick up a bottle of wine. So if i avoid the supermarket it will help me avoid temptation.0 -
Thanks Maman and other wellwishers....Tried a similar mix - 2 co-codamol with 1 diclofenac with a hottie pressed against my lower back and went to bed for a couple of hours. Eureka! Ten times better. Not that I would wish this on anyone, but it certainly takes away the desire to have a drink! AF night number 4 please Shaggy.0

4 af please Shaggy and 3 for the challenge x
declaring early as I have no wish to drink. My husband has beers in but as I only drink vodka its not really a temptation.
just bought a new summer quilt and put it on the bed so looking forward to a bath and an early night.

Evening all! I'm declaring my 4th AF for May and 3 for the schoolnight challenge please. Going for a shower then off for an early night as am working in a polling station tomorrow and have to be there at 6.30 am !!!!
Don't think there's much weight loss going on though, must avoid replacing glass of wine with bowl of nuts/crisps/chocolates!!!
I won't be on tomorrow as won't be home from polling station until 10.30 at which point I will be exhausted! Looking forward to spending the pay, though NOT on wine!
