    3 for me please Shaggy.

I've been doing AF for a month now and it gets easier - can't believe it's a week since my last drink, it's gone so quick. This time last month a day without alcohol seemed like a lifetime!!:j

    Great Stuff :T:T:T:T
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Good morning all!

3 please Shaggy and 2 please Bearacus!

Maggiesoop - hope you are feeling better soon!

Darwins_mum - I'm with Shaggy, thats an outrage about your expenses! (says me thats still waiting for reimbursement from work for an eye test a year ago!!:rotfl:)

Mackeroo - Ahh...staying home and baking all day sounds good to me! Unfortunately my OH isn't going for that idea either!!:rotfl:

Beckseven - yes, our GC talks a lot of sense. The not drinking today approach is a good one. Looking long-term can seem very daunting.

Er my sentiments exactly. I shall ask my manager today what he would like me to do with the £20 that I have in my account to last until pay day - shall I buy some food, some petrol to enable me to do my job, shall I buy some p.e kit for my son, blah blah.

It sure is a testing time.
    Have a great day

Thanks for all kind wishes. Unfortunately no better this morning. Doctors don't seem to come out nowadays just assess the problem over the phone then send drugs via the local chemist. Alarmed to see that diazepam was amongst the concotion of packets that arrived, bit scared to take a few but if was going to relieve the pain it was worth it, sadly didn't do a blind bit of difference yesterday/overnight so will try the diclofenac or co-codamol today. You really take a different view on life if you're trapped in the house unable to do anything, I'll certainly have a more sympathetic approach when I next see a poor or pensioner hobbling up the road. On the lighter side, another AF night.
