Hi Shaggy, I am up to day 5 for this month, I think I may have forgotten to post my scores a couple of times.
I certainly shan't be drinking tonight as I will be counting votes. I shall also be counting referendum votes tomorrow afternoon, so don't want to be hung over whilst doing that.

Tomorrow evening will be a bit of a test as I have a large family gathering. Most of the family know that I am now AF, and I am sure for those who don't it will be a source of amusement (yawn) My response is normally to say to them that I am glad that my efforts at sobriety cause them so much amusement. Their embarrassment is normally palpable. It does rankle at times I must confess.
Ah well, it's not what happens, it's how I choose to respond to it I guess.
Have a great day everyone and enjoy your challenge.

Maybe............but who will be the source of 'amusement' once the alcohol has been consumed??? :D;)

Don't let others scupper your efforts............just because you are going out/meeting friends, it does not mean you HAVE to drink!

(I found out I hadn't been invited to a girlie evening I normally would've gone to. I was later told: 'Oh, we didn't ask you as it's awkward now you don't smoke')

Don't let it get to you DM. Enjoy the feeling of superiority and smugness that you're in control. And enjoy Saturday without a hangover!

I am sure l read somewhere there is a MON-THURS challenge?
    Thankyou.x

Welcome LittleLiz. If you ask Bearacus, she'll even let you do a one-off for tonight and then Mon to Thursday next week. Good luck!

I'm off out to lunch today with DH and friends. I've already offered to drive so I won't be drinking. Friiends still raise an eyebrow but once I'm settled with my fizzy water it's all forgotten.

Toomany4legs - you have my sympathy re the car. OH's bike broke today and, as it stands, we really can't afford to buy another. Not sure how he's going to get to work for a while!!

Not sure if will be AF tonight. Will just wait and see.
