Withc is another word a not very nice name. Esp when my daughter is sat next to me. Life is too short.
I love it how people label people when they dont even know them, I am one of the nicest people you can ever meet always willing to help others and I would do anything for anyone. .
yet you see nothing wrong with using the term witch as an insult?:lipsrseal:whistle:

I can't believe the amount of grief that has appeared on here over what is nothing more than a TV program that exists so that the TV company can sell advertising space to large companies in the hope that people will but their products!
Yes there are some good ideas to folk that have never considered saving in the past and may start them along a line that leads to the sort of advice on here.
But remember it is TV, it will be exaggerated to provide entertainment, so a lot of the folk may not be as they appear. Folk talk about men in the kitchen, I know a lot of families where the man is the chief cook, mine included. Believe it or not there are some that actually know more about cooking than their partners!

As someone posted earlier in the thread about the car mechanic, it is amazing the number of folk that do not know how to do basic things on cars, I learned years ago from my father and recently showed my son how to do the basics. It's not taught at school or anywhere and there are too many parents have no idea preferring (paying) to get someone else to do it

So glad I wasn't the only one to be thinking along those lines,

I'm going to assume you opted to use the word Witch because it was the only one you could think of that rhymed and not because you feel it is a suitable derogatory word. You have made quite an issue about how several posters on here have implied insults to others, so please feel free to apologise to those whom you have now offended by insulting our religion.

Ok I'm now retracting the assumption that you didn't intend to cause offense because clearly you have no understanding of how insulting you are being, you are too keen to accuse others of being intolerent. The word Witch is perfectly acceptable when used in the correct context, it is not tolerable to use it as an insult/derogatory term nor to imply it's not a nice name unless you wish to demonstrate Religious intolerance.

my point with him was his spending on branded high price goods which for him seemed all about appearances - in the stores. to other shoppers, to family friends etc, dinner party guests when from the looks of him his hair was greasy and coud have used some branded shampoo. His hair looked as if he hadnt washed it for weeks. maybe he was trying to cut shampoo and water costs.

You still seem to commenting on his personal cleanliness - how about a hair product?
    Put the kettle on. ;)
