I can't picture what these are. Do other supermarkets do them ?

Aren't they just those metal pan scourers you can get? If it is there are various makes - Spontex do them. They look like a bundle of coiled up metal. These ones http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/household-products/spontex-tough-scourers/

If it's not them then I apologise for butting in :D However the ones I mean do work. Unfortunately I'm not one for wearing rubber gloves and they play havoc with my nails (which never look nice at the best of times )

I never use them on my hob or oven, fearing that they will take the enamel off / leave scratches.

Mind you, I use my oven less than 10 times a year - and that's only to bake cakes / flapjacks!

Sadly, I have seen the evil side of people on this thread, I was even talking to a fellow MSER when I was out and about. She said it is a sad state of affairs, when people stoop really low start calling people they dont even know. I wonder if these people judge anyone in general public in the same way. And Yes I do agree Amanda Soule Blake is one of my heros and I frequently look at her blog when I am stuck with something.
So if you post comments and dont like the falck you get for being insultive, dont post. And defending someone over a post who was clearly in the wrong is worse in my book. It reminds me of the school yard TBH.
Ohh by the way to two cushions that were made were totally different, one was made with stuffing and was decorative and one was used as a moth deterent. just a point.

Sorry, i don't tend to post on the OS board much, but i read it with interest daily and without all the lovely people on here i would not know half of what i do now, i consider myself quite young and all of my friends look at me like im crazy for some of the tips i come out with following advice on here.

I have never felt that this is a 'members only' club as you put it, and i have not heard such b1tch1ness from anyone but yourself, maybe if you read the others' comments in context you could learn a lot - making your life better in the process.

ETA: a bit thank you to all OSer's for all your help!

I'm sorry, but where on earth have you been referred to as a witch?

Withc is another word a not very nice name. Esp when my daughter is sat next to me. Life is too short.
I love it how people label people when they dont even know them, I am one of the nicest people you can ever meet always willing to help others and I would do anything for anyone. Ohh by the way you are not allowed to mention PM's. As it was a sensitive subject.

I did not label you, and i don't think anyone else did either, i was just saying that your attitude was the one that stuck out, not the 'others' you were blaming.

Everyone is entitled to say what they like, and have their own opinion, however, you were stating that YOU did not feel like this was a 'nice community' and that there was little wonder that there were people who would not post because they were not 'included' in the 'members only' club. I was merely stating that that was NOT how i felt, and nor do many others who look to these boards as a precious resource.

No but you seem to think I have an attitude, but I dont, just a very serious outlook on life. But some People I know who are Msers have stopped posting, because they have been accused of this and that.
It is a place were you share thoughts, ideas and to have a nice chat. Not lets have a go at a TV programme because it isnt to MSE old style money saving programme. Just leave it lie. So there you go. Easy simple dont need to go on bashing people.:eek::eek::eek:
