I didnt enjoy the programme that much. However I think that sometimes some comments on here are a bit harsh. Yes things could be a bit different but some of the tips might have helped some people.
I liked Barbara and felt that if she encouraged folks to clean and use less money and chemicals, that was great! Some of the other ideas I would never do, but it has made me think about getting a sewing machine.
I mean, its not as if when I asked what were good moneysaving tips for holidays I got answers. With everyone just saying stay at home (as I live on the banks of the beautiful silvery Tay!), that wasnt what I asked. If superscrimpers were providing challenge for £50, I wondered what folks here suggested.
Yes I live in a lovely part of the country, but sometimes a break from all the normality is needed for refreshment and rest. If I stayed at home, I would find myself doing jobs etc!
We are going to Skye next week and will take our food, we have been offered a free cottage...and yes we need petrol, but its reasonable. We have stayed in travelodges and recently joined Scottish youth hostels (neither of us youth) which we hope to try in the Highlands (even for a night or two as we live in Perthshire so its closeness by to go to west coast!)....

It's a shame that you feel that way. I've read your posts from time to time, and you always seems quite at home, and happy to contribute. I've been on other forums that I don't feel as comfortable on, and if I feel like that I don't use them again.0 -
Wow, Nicki Minaj is on the show this eve :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I suppose the wig is moneysaving if it saves you from washing and styling your hair.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
