but if he moved out then you could move back saving you rent?
sorry he is being such a stupid sub human about it all. I agree with other posters about asking the agents about what is happening. If they try and say it is just the market. Make sure you press them about is EX being there for appts etc?
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks Chev, unfortunately I have signed a lease on where we are now which we cant get out of, this was signed well before he started being a total knob!
The house we are in now is much more child friendly too & within walking distance of my Mum & Dads which is essential to me as I will be giving my car up while I'm on mat leave & they dont drive either x0 -
I don't know much about your situation, but wanted to ask, is HE living in that house at the moment? Are you?
Is this YOUR house? Or both of you own it?
I hope you can get this sorted, but like others have said, if it's been up for so long and not yet had a viewing, perhaps the price is too high at the moment?
PS.
Culex Your avatar scared the poop out of me! I thought I had a bug on my screen! lol:beer: Thank you to everyone!

Hi Rachel,
He lives there, its a joint mortgage but we have a document our solicitor drew up to say the first £35000 in profit will be mine as thats the deposit i put down & he didnt put anything down.
the equity in the house is now less than that so he stands to gain nothing from the sale.
I let him live there as I no longer wanted to stay in the house he had cheated on me in with his current bit of skirt.
To save argument I've allowed him to live there for around £300 per month which is about half what he'd pay for a 1 bed flat round here.
Hes on a good deal but still whinges about it & pleads poverty despite the fact i know shes living there too, I think hes seen his a4rse now as im pregnant & is being extra difficult.

Could you get someone to sneak in and put itching powder in his underwear?
She'll think he's got crabs...0 -
its overpriced...with no viewings people are passing it over and first thing is because of the price....get a quick to sell valuation from a estate agent. It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
What good will it do to get the estate agent valued?
They no doubt would charge you 3% to tell you they are worthless guessers...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?

We are in the same boat-mother in laws house has been on the market 3 years-totally refurbished and ready to sell. It did sell twice but fell through for various reasons. Dipshit of a brother in law refuses to allow us to rent it out, even though estate agent said its eminently rentable.. we have lowered the price 3/4 times, by about 50k in total but still no luck. Soft lad BIL is now taking us to court to "enforce sale"....quite how that will work I don't know-drag someone of the street and force them to buy it???
After a flurry of solicitors letters early in the year, all seems to have gone quiet...d'ya reckon his solicitors have told him he's a knob??Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -

He might have decided that, whilst he would not get his full inheritance as a result, he should get something quickly if the house were to be sold at auction. After a flurry of solicitors letters early in the year, all seems to have gone quiet...d'ya reckon his solicitors have told him he's a knob??
I doubt it, as few solicitor are qualified to give medical or psychiatric diagnoses. It may be more likely that your b[STRIKE]u[/STRIKE]gger-in-law has been presented with the bill for services to date and/or an estimate of how much litigation could cost.0
