Damos1 at the end of the day it's your word against Havens staff. Havens have decided no action is required, disputing your version of events. If you want to take it further consult a Solicitor. Typing on MSE is not going to resolve your problem.
As a matter of interest if you don't mind saying, why do you need a carer?0 -

60p. OMG. Get a life!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It was £1 blue_monkey, i was pm'd and informed of the correct amount by the OP. That 40p makes all the difference.0 -
Quoted for completeness, OP lost 60p. Date was Friday July 10 2009my email to the police upon return
dear great yarmouth police
with reference to this incident i was asked to inform within 2 weeks wether i would like to take further action on what happened on friday the 10th of july at around 1030pm
i do not wish to persue this any further with you but haven may require acknoledgement of police record of the incident if this is possible however i am very unhappy with how the situation was handled on havens basis as i should not of been removed and was not asked to leave premises just to go into the arcade area which i did not refuse, to talk about the problem which is when i was pushed eg i was cooperating at the time of being pushed and even after was not resisting or fighting back and at no point did i assult there staff like they claimed so i have decided not to persue with you although make a big complaint with haven themselves
thankyou however for the time already spent on this incident and the main reason of contacting you was for a record of the incident as i have heard that security are nearly untouchable complaint wise without the police being informed also i needed to contact you with the hope there should of been cctv of the whole incident and the complaint i was placing with you was the way security removed me and not a complaint with you over the 60p as i think may of been thought?
please reply so i know the incident is still on record but only if haven needs your assistance eg finding that police were informed
thankyou0 -
No, it's 60p. She/he said in the letter to the police. You have been PM'd and informed. Please.... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
This has to be a wind up, right?
Where is the post from the person that worked there.
And 'someone' has threatened to remove their caravan from the Haven Site. I bet they are crapping themselves over that.0 -

Because the OP needs help in unfamilair places, they already said this earlier. However, this is a site that they have been to numerous times and they were there last year so I would have thought the OP knows it already. There are not too many evening entertainment hotspots at Haven.
The caravan was in a different place this time and this is why the OP needed help, to get back to it. However, the mother and stepfather did not take them anyway and [STRIKE]carried on boozing for half an hour[/STRIKE] was trying to sort it out while the OP sat outside asking to be allowed back in for half an hour/an hour. I can't remember which, neither can they.
This is why I said that it should not matter if there were small kids/other family there or not, the OP's mother gets carers allowance so she is being PAID to look after the OP and so she should have done what she is being paid to do and taken the OP back to the caravan there and then, not wait until closing time.
I think it is an excuse myself but hey ho.0 -
Think the OP is a little confused then, not surprising really is it ? After my post about the 60p they sent me a PM saying i was wrong and that it was £1, not 60p, not what they said in their previous monologues was it ? I did say that whilst i sympathised with their problems,
that i thought they should shut up now as we're all bored and having breathing difficulties from reading their posts. No replies recently so i think they've got the idea now. Thank god.

Stop wasting your time and get on with your life. As someone said earlier people get thrown out of places all the time especially if the place rightly or wrongly thinks they are causing trouble.
If you feel so strongly about it don't go back there and give them any of your money. You are going to get absolutely nothing from this.0 -
The spelling and grammar in Damos1's last post will turn into a recurrent nightmare for years to come.
That being said, I would quite like to "thank" every single one of their posts just for the pure entertainment it has provided."We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -
Hello, Thankyou mse/forum mods.
Just a little update, Currently I have emailed Consumer direct whos last advice has been we recommend taking the issue to a civil court and they have also provided details for free online legal advice?
Also they emailed my issue to trading standards and stated they may reply.
Consumer direct also provided advice to contact the equality and human rights commision via there contact form on the main website and I am currently building into reading the reply they have sent.
The equality and human rights commision was contacted with regards to the disability discrimination element of the complaint.
Any update from CD, TS or HRC...yeh ..0
