i think we all know that will not stand up in law you are just being very cocky and you are still posting in a way im sure very few other readers understand? i have told you why i dismissed them, i was feeling guilty for being punished for something i had not done, and i did not want to go back! i wanted to be with my family, i needed to be with my carer due to other needs i will not go into they refused this simple as that really, people will twist it how they will

    Damos.

You dismissed your carer. You had a drink, you lost some money on the puggy. They could not assist you there and then. You caused an altracation. You were escorted off the premisis.

I think you are right, your story WILL NOT add up in Court.

For this reason, you will have to move on

i said valid reason i think you know that is not valid, half a pint over 45 minutes, hmm yeah if you get drunk/tipsy on that then...

again give me a valid reason for staff OTHER than security to help remove me?

it does not take away the fact several guards saw what was happening yet the only person to aid the guard was the arcade assistant

We only have your side of events though. We dont know really if you were being argumentative with the person. They may have smelled the alcohol on your breath and determined that you were under the influence and that is enough reason. Hell, even arguing with them is enough reason.. Now ive read the rest of the posts before replying above im aghast at what has come out. Your story has more plot rethinks then a bad movie.

    please let it drop now.

either way i give up with you, because our not listening to the facts, i did not lose the money, the carer was not dismissed untill long after the incident, the member of arcade staff equates to a member of the public as he is not trained to remove people,

But your carer was not there

i need a carer in places i do not know well, i knew the venue, hence carer unrequired to walk around the venue if i went to the van carer would be needed if i popped into great yarmouth, carer would again be required, as said we are all different and it depends on the situation faced, although was with a carer at the start of the incident the carer went because i told them to go back and not ruin the kids holiday, i should however of been allowed back in because i had done nothing wrong and i was told the sole reason i could not go back in was because i had physically assulted a member of their staff! a lie which did not happen! hence i should of been allowed back in!

Well give it up on here and go to the CAB. You will get no more help from people on here and your wasting your time and others by trying to push this thread onwards.

my email to the police upon return

    dear great yarmouth police
with reference to this incident i was asked to inform within 2 weeks wether i would like to take further action on what happened on friday the 10th of july at around 1030pm
i do not wish to persue this any further with you but haven may require acknoledgement of police record of the incident if this is possible however i am very unhappy with how the situation was handled on havens basis as i should not of been removed and was not asked to leave premises just to go into the arcade area which i did not refuse, to talk about the problem which is when i was pushed eg i was cooperating at the time of being pushed and even after was not resisting or fighting back and at no point did i assult there staff like they claimed so i have decided not to persue with you although make a big complaint with haven themselves
thankyou however for the time already spent on this incident and the main reason of contacting you was for a record of the incident as i have heard that security are nearly untouchable complaint wise without the police being informed also i needed to contact you with the hope there should of been cctv of the whole incident and the complaint i was placing with you was the way security removed me and not a complaint with you over the 60p as i think may of been thought?
please reply so i know the incident is still on record but only if haven needs your assistance eg finding that police were informed
    thankyou

Not only was it 2 years ago, he says he doesn't want to pursue it any more. How many Police stations can you think of will take any notice of that email, plus you need bl**dy great big lungs to read it !! OMG ! I just realised, he says it was 60 pence !! !!!!!! ??
  • This all started over 60p....you wouldn't miss it if it fell down the back of the sofa, so why create a scene at the venue?

You do not need a sign up to say company's will not accept any form of abusive or threatening behaviour to their staff.
It is only your perception that you were not, but you were emotionally involved in the altercation.

For 60p, you should have walked away.

I'm quite sure there are a percentage of complaints for the purpose of financial gain, and you have been clear that due to the events surrounding your 60p, you want your holiday replacing.

    Simples.

I actually laughed out loud at it being 60p. I thought it was £1, I was being generous then.

    60p. OMG. Get a life!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • OMG, this thread is going round and round in circles. I detect just a shade of paranoia in the OP's posts.

Surely if the OP is disabled and needs a carer, then the carer and/or the OP's mother should be the ones to complain to Haven? It was the mother, after all, who lost the 60p!

Is the carer paid Carer's Allowance? You say that carers get different rates depending on the amount of care provided - this is wrong, there is only one rate, and the care must be given for at least 35 hours a week. It doesn't sound like you were being properly cared for to me!

Damos, just do yourself and everyone else a favour and drop it. Haven will never back down, and you are likely to make yourself ill by keeping on worrying about it. Book another holiday, with a different company, and look forward to enjoying it.
