Me neither but it would appear that someone at Wiltshire Police has decided that I have to go through the civil process - could really do without it at the moment but will try the link suggested above. Don't hold out much hope for getting anything back as I doubt that he'll have any assets or the money. I just hope that he doesn't do this again - although the more often he gets away with it, the more likely he is to keep trying ;-(

It will cost £30 to process the claim apparently and I still have to get the money from him even if judgement is awarded in my favour - think I'm just throwing good money after bad!!!!
  • Amanda65 - I am so sorry that this has all happened to you!

There are some real crooks out there and its always the good honest hardworking people that get stung!

I really admire you for sticking to your guns and trying every path available. if I had a spare £150 I would send it to you right now.

Try and have a great Christmas - chin up!

Awww sorry for you Amanda - Annoys me that the police take this attitude really,a crime has been commited in my opinion.

I dont know what route you can take next but i'd probably just write it off as a bad debt, wipe your hands from it,enjoy your christmas and learn the lessons from it as in 'Trust no one'
