A quick pop back. 4lbs down since I posted :T:T kind of pleased with myself at this time of year. Done by giving up sugar (including alcohol) which gets easier the longer you do it. Posting now obviously before any Christmas damage is done
Maybe we'll see an upsurge here in JanuaryI'm up for no booze/no sugar dryathlon if anyone fancies joining me?

Yup.
I'm in. Weighing myself 1st Jan morning and no booze and no blatantly unhealthy foods from there on in.0 -
OK so it's January the first. Time to start paying for all the Christmas excesses!
This morning I was 9.13. I'd like to lose half a stone and see how I feel then.
I've already lost a fair bit of weight and regained just over half a stone over the last three months, I'm not giving myself a hard time about it partly because it's counterproductive and partly because in the end I deliberately decided that my focus needed to be on other things. I kept up a baseline of exercise though and got a grip on diet again in December.
So my goals are:
Gym 5 times a week for various activities
Walk 10,000 steps minimum a day
Calorie count using My Fitness Pal
Improve my diet, more vegetables and no sugar (the vegetables are the only new element I'm adding and it's my official new year resolution)
I will post weekly, probably at the weekend.
Anyone else in???0 -
Do NY resolutions start on Jan 2nd? Because I have a box of butter shortbread and a tin of roses here looking at me.
Maybe I could start tomorrow?0 -

You could but you would feel so so much better if you just get ridimagine how proud of yourself you would be!
I've still got some chocolates in the cupboard, nice box but luckily unopened. I'm bringing them to my friend's house tomorrow, she has three small children so they won't last long. Also an opened package of home made fudge which is gorgeous. I had to put it right in the back of the cupboard lol!
edited to say, I can't imagine you could get through all of this tonight, what's the plan for the remainder tomorrow??0 -
Oops. Few lbs on over hols.... Back on track from tomorrow. Soon get sorted.2014 reach my best.0

Hi guys, I'm counting today as a weekly check in - though I know it's a bit more than a week lol! I'm 9st 11.5 this morning so reckon that's 1.5lb down since the first. And have pretty much stuck with my resolutions. How's everyone else doing? Rogue chocolate all used up?0

I'm having a gop at the hairy bikers diet using the cookery books. Weigh in for me tomorrow0
