Grrr These people from DCA's truely get on my nerves!!!!!
What they are sending you are scare tactics, as Tixy has said. Firstly don't panic, they cannot legally enforce all that they are saying they can.
Keep looking through the forum for DCA help, type in the name of the debt collection agency into either the search bar on MSE or into your browers, something will come up with reference to how bad they have treat others before you.
Template letters for DCA's are here somewhere, I will strive to find links.

These DCA's are NOT as powerful as they pretend to be.

You won't hear anything now. My CCA request 12+2 days is long up and apart from the same letter as yours about the harrassment by phone I have not heard anything from Cougar. I paid again this month direct to Capital One. I am actually looking forward to cougar's next scare tactics letter so that I can tell them to sod off as no CCA was supplied
