Well survived court just. My solicitor decided to push for more money for me and spoke with my ex about an offer of £5k more, which he considered more realistic. We ended up speaking to the judge who decided that my ex had to think about the offer and get legal advice (he is representing himself) and then contact my solicitor who will then organise the consent of order and finalise the finances.

So the divorce is still ongoing...

Having a quiet day today whilst the kids play. OH is on holiday for a week as from today.

Today's list of things to do:
    1. Wash and iron clothes
    2. Kids to tidy room
    3. Tidy living room
    4. Tidy kitchen
    5. Make something tasty for tea.

My body seems to be still suffering from coming off the pill but it will be worth it after a week hopefully. All this planning to try and conceive a baby in October has got me very motivated to lose my debt very quickly. I have been looking at what equipment I will need and I will have to give myself a realistic budget to stick to next year when I clear my debts.

I have still to try to do a car boot sale to clear a lot of things that I do not need, but we need a weekend when we can actually fit it in.

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. Only 2 weeks left of summer holidays and then autumn term starts. This summer has gone far too quick.

As from today me and OH are trying for a baby, so our life is going to be very different. I am looking forward to the pregnancy after the morning sickness and before the birth lol. Oh and if it is twins then..... ;)

    Hi Brizzle,

Thanks for popping by. The plans to move up North have been put on hold for now mainly because of OH being at uni and because of the lack of teaching jobs. Plus I cannot afford to move out of the area because of the expensive properties near my parents. Going to wait until OH has a full time job before considering moving up North.
I teach in a College (tho qualified teacher) and I am back in work on 30th August, my students start on the 6th Sept, same as my children.

Well after yesterdays decisions and being blissfully happy. Today has been a nightmare.
I have put my back out and can barely walk. I have had this in the past with my lower back moving, and I normally have it put back by a friend who is a physiotherapist. My friend is on holiday until this Friday, so i will have to just rest and get heat on my back.

I have also been having problems with my teeth/sinuses. So after toothache over the weekend I visited the Dentist for them to say I have sinus problems and need to see my Doctor (again). I have been down this road before and ended up nowhere. Doctor saying it is my teeth and Dentist saying it is my sinuses. So back to the Docs tomorrow for my sinuses and my back.

Hopefully, fingers crossed, I will be better tomorrow and when my friend returns he can deal with the back.

As for the baby plans, they are under way :D

    Hello.

My back is slightly better and I can walk normally. Still needs to be treated and put back into place by a physio. Hoping to get it sorted by Saturday though.

Not been very MSE this month at all. I have spent money on the kids and on days out and shopping etc. Yesterday we went to Camelot Theme Park and spent too much on food and gifts for the kids. Though tickets were half price anyway. We had a fun day.

Just posted lots of Ebay items that sold this week. Made just over £50 on 10 items. Though I am not sure whether I will be Ebaying too much though to pay off debts. Things just don't sell well enough on there anymore.

Checked my ovulation dates and according to online calculators my ovulation period is from 22nd August to 27th August, with 26th August the most fertile day. Tomorrow will be a busy day for me.

    Thanks Brizzle.

Too wet to do anything outdoors today. OH is setting up the computer to the TV and his speakers around the room. I am being far too lazy and not doing much. Kids are playing with friends and hiding from the rain. Kids are going on hols with their Dad later today, so just me and OH for the week.
And I am back at work on Tuesday and I so do not want to go back. I need lots of motivation and am struggling to find it. Looking forward to October half term already.

Need a few school bits and bobs for the kids before they go back, and I will sort this out next week.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend.

Not done much apart from Uncle's birthday party and spend all of Monday lazing. Have had stomach cramps for past few days so don't know know whether it is early pregnancy signs or just wind. lol.
