    Hello.

Feeling much better today. Still have a bloated stomach but no cramping and no nausea. Half expecting to come on my period on Friday. My sleeping is very erratic atm, and I am constantly waking and struggling to sleep at night. And to top it all I am wanting an afternoon kip every day. Seems like I am only tired in the afternoon. lol.

First day with students today, so been very busy with induction activities. Came back from work and could not be bothered with tea, so had sausage and chips from the chipshop. OH is stuck at his parents as his car has broken down after a little accident involving a wall, so just me and DS and DD for today and possibly tomorrow.

Feeling rough again today. Bad nights sleep again and I feel starving all the time. Very unsure and fed up today. OH is still away sorting out his car at his parents and I miss him like crazy. Not good when I am feeling hormonal and just need a hug.

Anyway I have had to take money out to try and last until the end of the month. Whether I can do it or not is another thing. So many things to buy when kids are just back at school and we have film nights.

Managed to finally bottle my homemade Chardonnay Wine and Strawberry Wine. So 10 bottles to drink or OH drinks if I am pregnant.

Very swollen stomach this evening. Feel like I am going to pop. Defo thinking that I am coming on my period this weekend, so feeling a little blue.

On the MSE front, I sold my treadmill earlier for £30, so more money for me to use against my debt.

  • Does the wine work out much cheaper and taste ok? Have often thought about making my own as I do enjoy the odd glass or three but the thought of all the faff when you don't know how it's going to taste has put me off

No it is really easy to do, hardly any faff. I made Cabernet Sauvignon with a Wilkinson's kit and it was lovely.
You need one of the kits, demi john, rubber bung and airlock pack for the top of demi john, a syphoning tube, sugar (i used normal sugar not brewers sugar), and hot water. You have to mix it at the beginning, and some of the kits require you to add some more water after 3 days (depends on the kit). You then leave it and check it each week to make sure that the air is still going through. It takes about 4 weeks to brew. The week before you add the rest of the kit, agitate it 6 times in 24 hours and leave for a week. Instructions are easy to follow. You need a warm dark airing cupboard to keep them in. I didn't have a warm airing cupboard so wrapped them in spare duvets.

Defo think that AF is arriving tomorrow, and going to be another month of baby making. Poor OH. Hopefully next month will be more successful, as I thought that the weird month I have had was down to baby being made. Slightly worried that it is something else, but going to wait a month and see if it does it next month and if so, I am off to the doctors.

A day of NSD today. And going home to last night's Cottage Pie, yummy.
Also a night without my DD and DS as they are at their Dads. Hopefully OH will be back by later today and we can catch up on 2 days worth of missing each other.
At least I have calmed down today, as I was very hormonal yesterday and slightly ragey.

Oh and yay it is Friday tomorrow.

Completely fallen off the MSE wagon this weekend. OH broke my vacuum (was old and on it's last legs) so had to buy a new one. Ended up getting a Dyson vacuum and OH picked the moment to decide we should get a new TV (we did sort of need one and I was hoping to last out until next year).
So ended up with a new vacuum, a 43" 3D TV and accessories and a TV stand. £940 lighter this weekend lol. Seriously need to be more MSE for the rest of the year.

Still no baby or AF news yet.

Another week starting and let the chaos begin. So glad that I just go with the flow at work.
Need to motivate myself to plan but struggling.
Managed to finally get a full nights sleep without waking up at 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 am. Woke at 7 before my alarm and dosed until 7.15am. Still feeling wide awake though and full of energy.

  • Oops to the not so MSE weekend but secretly you have made me feel slightly better as I fell off the mse wagon on Friday - glad I am not alone ;) but I am still a newbie so not good I fell off so soon :(

Have you had a Dyson before? I bought my first about 6 months ago and was amazed/slightly disgusted at the difference it made to picking up the dirt and hair

It takes some effort to stay completely MSE. At some point, everyone falls off the wagon. I am easily swayed lol.

Yes I had a Dyson before, with my ex, and thought it was brilliant. Amazing how much it collects after you think your house is clean and it half fills the container on one carpet.
Don't feel guilty about spending. You only live once.
