Lordy Flee - don't quite know what to say. I find it quite bizarre that your Mum said they were 'testing you'. Testing you on what? Who you loved the most? You are a Mum and your first priority should be to your children and ensuring they are happy. Which from your posts it does appear that they are.
As for not washing the kids faces (I assume you meant not washing) making you a bad Mum heaven only knows what they would think I am if they knew that my son went 3 days not so long ago without cleaning his teeth!
I don't mean to make light of your situation as it must hurt that your parents have taken this stance. You know what is best for you and your children and hopefully they will come to see that and appreciate it.
There is obviously a lot of emotion they are feeling and it is easier to write things rather than say them face to face to someone. It is also easy to get the wrong end of the stick or make assumptions about circumstances.
Do you think you would be able to sit down with them and talk through the letters asking them to explain some of their comments and allowing you to put across your view. Easier said than done I know but it would be a shame for them to be out of yours and the kids lives and at least you can be content with the fact that if it still doesn't work out that you have done all that you can to maintain a relationship with them?

Thanks for responding Fuzzybear. I have sat with them and talked things through before. I am just going to let them calm down for a bit. If I do speak to them I will end up getting too angry. Both my parents are fiery and it will not work until things calm down.
And yes I meant that my kids were not washing their faces at night at their house.
I am letting them calm down and we shall see what happens. It all happened out of the blue. Ok I need to get back on track with the budgeting and stop spending money. I have £300 as from today to last until the end of the month and I will not go over the budget. My debts are spiralling atm and I am struggling to get a grip of them.
Plan for the weekend:
1. Tidy house
2. Take kids to swimming and kids party on saturday
3. Morning out with kids
4. Spend quality time with OH when kids go to their Dad's
5. Make sure that I wash and iron clothes ready for Monday
6. Bake something as a treat for kids next week.
7. Make time for baby making

Cannot believe that it is October and we have this lovely weather instead of autumn starting. So nice like being abroad.
Trying to keep my head down at work as people have sniffles and sickness bugs and I do not need another cold or bug.
Really need to keep an eye on my spending, as I took out £200 at the weekend and it is almost gone. Did a lot of spending at the weekend and beginning of the week.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Bit cooler today. Nothing to report on debt busting. Just trying to not spend unless it is absolutely necessary.
Extremely busy at work as per usual, and I am on countdown to the weekend already. Half way there today. woop.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]
