Just looked and rearranged my spreadsheet and see where I can save money. Looks as though it will be August 2012 when I am finally debt free. Seems crazy as it takes a month or two to build up debt and years to pay off.

Seriously thinking that it might be usual to change my baby making plans so that I have a baby in Dec 2012 rather than Aug 2012.

BUT for now I will push to pay off as much as possible before December this year and see what happens.

I went shopping yesterday and spent £50 which included meat and margarine that will last for a month. Will only need essentials like bread, milk, fruit and veg.

Aww baby making. Our plan is to start next year OH isnt getting any younger and we cant let debt hold our life back as long as we dont get any more debt. :D Plus our youngest goes to school next year so we will have a year off paying for nursery! Thats about £7k!!!

Wow you are as brave as me then by thinking about adding another child to the brood.
I always wanted 3 children but my ex did not. My OH's family have a history of twins running through, so I am trying to put off until I can financially afford it.

Schools out for summer and the weather is wet and dark. Great!!! I really hope it will get better otherwise my kids will be bored bored bored.

I still have another week at work and then all of August off. And I am ready for a nice month off work. I have tickets for Camelot Theme Park and planning on going to Lightwater Valley for the day with the kids and OH. Thankfully cheap tickets with half price family ticket for Camelot and Tesco vouchers for Lightwater Valley.

Morning everyone. Last Monday at work today for a month for me, and I cannot wait until Friday arrives. Had a lazy weekend with the kids and OH. Enjoyed a nice swim on Sunday and have decided that I will take the kids swimming over the holidays and will buy a month subscription for £20. The kids go free, so we will be getting fit and having fun too.

Going to have a week of me cooking homemade food for the family until payday on Friday. Saturday will be fish and chips night as a treat for the family as we have visitors this weekend.
I have some yoghurt formulating (hopefully) in my slow cooker today and I really hope it turns out.

I made my own stock this weekend with chicken stock mixed with spring greens and lettuce all blitzed together and cooked in the slow cooker. It looked like pesto sauce but tasted yummy.
I ended up using the stock in a chicken risotto and in a pork casserole, obviously adding other ingredients like a bit of gravy for the casserole to make it a bit more meatier. DD and DS enjoyed it very much and were having seconds of both.

Fish pie for tea tonight which will disappear very quickly.

Yoghurt turned out ok, a bit runny but tastes like yoghurt. Going to test it on the kids later and see what they think.

Had a mad day yesterday when I decided to tag along with my fella when he was fixing computers in Wales but ended up stuck in the traffic that could not get through the closed tunnel. A day out turned out to be a day stuck in the car with no option but to sit in the car when we got there as most things were closed. At least my fella had someone to talk to though. Quality times is hard to beat.

Just had a bill for the broadband that I cancelled last month and I have been charged £30 for ending my broadband. This is because of not taking the service with me to my new home and for not migrating the service. I am putting in a complaint though, as I cancelled because of them not being helpful when I was moving and they basically lied to me about what I could do when I renewed my contract. The service is shocking and I decided to not stay with them.

Anyway onto good news. I am almost finished at work for a whole month and I cannot wait.

One more day until my summer holiday starts. Not sure what we will do with our month off but should be fun. I am thinking about buying a swimming pass for £20 per month for the month we are off, so that we can go swimming over the summer as many times as we want.

I had my free Graze snack box through yesterday and it is very yummy. Might keep buying them for the next month so that the me and the kids have something healthy to feast on through the holidays. The flapjack was delicious.

Payday tomorrow and that will be another chunk off the debt.

Morning all. I had a busy weekend entertaining my younger brother and his OH. A bit of shopping, BBQ and home made wine. Lovely.
But started this morning by spending, lol. Took the kids out for a shop and ended up spending at least £50 on bits and bobs. But ended up with two cans of home made wine kits which I have prepared and put into demi johns. The last homemade wine from Wilkinsons was a success and very tasty, so decided to make some more. Should give me twelve bottles of wine.

I am thinking of ringing Tesco Bank and see if they can offer me a balance transfer at a good rate, as I have a balance of £0 and £5k on my HSBC one. Wonder whether they will agree?

Balance transfer sorted out until November 2011. So should save me a bit of money. Just need to calm my spending now so that I have money available to pay off my debts asap. Looks as though April 2011 will be my Debt free date. Woo.

New tyres on my car as well this morning finally. My holiday claim and receipts for work posted, so hopefully get some money back from them. Fingers crossed for my holiday claim as it is from my April holiday that we had to cut short because of my Nan's death. Really need to get something back for that.
