Hi abba, You have done really well with cutting down your debts. The divorce is just ridiculous, my ex-OH is getting an easy ride he lives in the family home whilst me and the kids rent. I just want to be divorced and paid out so I can move on and upwards. The divorce is costing me far too much.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Morning all.
I have managed to survive on not much these past weeks. Almost ready for a big shop after pay day.
I have managed to move lots of money from my Tesco credit card onto my HSBC card with a balance transfer. £1100 to be exact so this is going to be interest free until January 2012. Should allow me to pay off my Tesco Card and free up some money on my credit.
Though I have quite a few bills coming up as well. Solicitor will be wanting £500 soon, dentists next week to have a filling and I need new tyres on my car. Going to be expensive.
On the plus side I have a lot planned for the summer with my kids and we should have lots of fun. I am cutting back so much and finding ways of having fun without spending too much. I think after I pay my debts off that I will be rich. Possibly....Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Well I had enough of using my new Sony Ericsson phone and have put it on EBay and gone back to my HTC. I also decided to put my interactive R2D2 Unit on EBay, that I treated myself to last year, but OH convinced me to not sell him, so i have taken him off.
Instead I am going to trawl the house for things to sell to try and raise £200 in the enxt few weeks. i also think a car boot sale would be a good idea to sell things at.
I like EBay but find it too time consuming when I work full time as well. I really need to add money to the debt-free pot though and clear everything that I owe before next spring.
I also had good news about marking papers in the summer for my examining board, so will be earning some money towards the debt-free pot.
I am so determined to pay the lot of asap.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

I have a bid on my phone, woo hoo. It is definitely going.
I have finally decided to cancel my Tesco Credit Card after payday. Not sure when it will come off my credit reports though, but as long as it doesn't take a year I am fine. I have gone through my finances with a fine toothcomb again and I should be debtfree by next spring with any luck.
I also decided that the money will go and I will try for a baby in December with OH. Just need to pay off debts and save some money. Sounds easy when I type it, but it will be a hard slog up to christmas.
Anyone else trying to cut down their credit cards atm? It is so hard to do and takes so much effort to cut back on luxuries. Wish I could win the lottery, just to live comfortably.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

I sold my phone for £90 so well pleased about that. I am also going to try to Ebay a few more items this month and try to keep a bit extra coming in.
Trying to keep my holidays for the summer at work, so I am working this week and also had to take my children with me to save on childcare costs etc. Kids love coming to my work and creating things and messing around on computers.
I am so busy trying to cut down costs here, there and everywhere atm and am finding that if everything goes to plan I may be debt free in February 2012.
Today I paid off my Tesco Clubcard and tomorrow or Friday I will phone them and cancel it for good. Hopefully this will free up some available credit and I can consider getting a mortgage after I am divorced. woo hoo.
Though it looks as though it will be next year before I can do anything relating to a mortgage. My divorce is still ongoing and I should be going to court on 18th August to go through money. Not looking forward to that at all.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

So nice to have the hot weather again. Loving the heat. I spotted a house for rent that is cheaper and bigger than the one I am renting but is in a busy part of town and has little garden with a big drive. So it is a no no, with my little Westie requiring lots of space to run around like a maniac from 8am-9pm lol.
My Westie had a little car trip today to pick my kids up and was such a good boy sat in the front. I managed to put his extending lead under my passenger seat which lifts up with a secret compartment, so he was secure and not trying to drive as he usually tries to do. Though he did get in the driver side and sat on the floor refusing to move. When we got there he just wanted to pee everywhere in the garden. Kids took him into the nearby park on his lead and let him have a swing, a bounce on the see saw and down the slide on DS's knee. Poor Westie loved it though, and let DS and DD baby him.
Got a bit to do tomorrow at work, got a bit of lesson prep, as well as sorting out my claim for my April holiday that was changed because of my Nan's death, and I hope to get some money back for that. Though I am not holding my hopes on that. I also have to go through my divorce documents for the financial settlement and see what financial evidence I am going to need to provide.
I am also so excited that it almost summer and I have pretty much finished the majority of my lessons.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Another week started. The weather is a bit rubbish but don't mind when I am at work.
Had a bad weekend of spending and am regretting it now when I am looking at my spreadsheet and realise that at the end of the month I will not have much money left. Going to have to get Ebaying over the next few weeks.
I have used the Fonebanker (recommended by MSE) and should have £50 in the post with a couple of old phones, so that will help.
Planning on not spending much in the next few weeks to try and pull some money back, but we shall see lol. Also got £4 going into Paypal from Surveys and £10 in Mr T vouchers from Valued Opinions.
I should be ok but my biggest bills are Petrol £30 and childcare £20 each week.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Well my luck cannot get any worse atm.
My estate agents have decided to up my rent from £550 to £575 pcm as from next month. I had decided to not move yet until my divorce goes through and I am able to buy something.
I am paying the top of my budget at £550, and it is just not worth it for the extra £25 a month. So screw them I am moving out into something cheaper and around £500 or less. Been looking and where I live there is nothing to rent, all snapped up immediately. I have phoned and emailed and managed to get viewings at two properties this week that are local. So fingers crossed they are ok and will be suitable for the Kids and the Westie. I cannot wait. And hopefully this will backfire on the Estate agents, as they struggled to get anyone to rent my house because of the location and the fact it is on a busy dairy farm. It took 8 months for them to have the property rented out.
Not looking forward to the moving malarky but it will be for the better. The money saving has gone out of the window again too. Trust this to happen as I managed to pay off one credit card to free up credit and I have no money at all. Going to have to rely on OH paying the deposit until we get the other one back.
I hardly spend any money except on bills and bills. It is getting ridiculous. The best thing is that I need new tyres and this is going to have to be done asap too.
All I can do is Ebay, Ebay, Ebay with all the stuff that I need to get rid of.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

My luck did get worse last week.
I had to take my dog to a local dogs home after he bit my son on his face last week. My son is ok and it is has healed well, looks like he has a nasty fall and scraped his face. I cannot trust the dog with the children so made the hardest decision ever to have him rehomed. It has broke mine, OH and the kids hearts doing this, but my kids come first. I feel awful. OH had to take him to the rehoming centre and was in pieces. There was no reason for the dog to have bit my son, he loved him but just got annoyed when my son stopped him escaping. The dog then decided to try to bite me when I tried to catch him. The dog seemed in a very grumpy mood that day.
But last week ended with us finding a new home to live in and because of the memories of the dog being there, we will be moving asap.
Money saving has gone out of the window and we are living on very little at the moment. Going to have to rely on my Credit card for petrol for the next couple of weeks.
I just put some items on Ebay that I need to clear and then will be putting some more items on later today.
Hoping for a nice quiet week this week, without any disasters.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]
