Yes, I'm not entirely sure that my 6 months free internet has kicked in yet, so I've turned off Internet Data and just get it through Wi-Fi instead.
Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Untick Data Service
The apps that don't require internet access all seem to work fine without it once they're installed.
So if you are in a wifi hotspot area ie McDonalds etc you can get online for free as you would with your laptop in there (or in their car park)?

I believe so, yes. I've done it with my HTC Wildfire, so don't see why it should be any different with this one.
That's great thanks.
I think mine is due to arrive tomorrow. If I am happy with it I may order a pink one for my 12 year old just to take advantage of the free android games.
Does anyone know which is the best Android download site for free downloads please?

I ordered one for myself after being told it had wifi and my youngest pointed out that my other mobile was on its way out. I was well excited when the delivery van pulled up at 7.30 yesterday morning.
I had to call them about my £10 credit but it remarkably appeared as soon as I called them. I just have to wrestle it off my OH now as he's spent ages looking on the Android market for apps, even though he has his own simbian smartphone that cost 6 times as much as mine"Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.

Just rang to check on mine and it is being delivered today by UKMail if that is of any help to those expecting a delivery.0
