I put the sim in, charged the phone, then completed the introduction on it and after that I received two text from t-mobile saying its ready to use. I then made a call straight away to test it, so the credit is already there for use. My internet access got connected today.

I got a Pulse (not mini) last summer - the £10 credit and web access are automatically applied to the new sim, so not transferable I'm afraid. A 6 month web top-up is £20, so I guess you could just pass the new sim on to someone and buy a top-up for your old sim if it's worth that much to keep your old number.

To get the internet connected you have to call up customer service and ask them to activate the 6 month internet access that you got with the sim card. If you try to connect to the internet before calling up then your £10 credit will minus. TIP- If you have a t-mobile sim without credit use it to call CS.

I thought the free internet with Giffgaff finished on 4th April.
    Taken from website
    Free Mobile Internet:
You lucky giffgaff pioneers can even enjoy free UK mobile Internet up to the 04 APR 2011. After that date, mobile Internet will be charged at 20p a day (if you use less than 1MB/day you'll pay less than 20p and if you go over 20MB you'll be charged extra at 20p/MB). But all our goodybags that include unlimited Internet will continue including unlimited Internet after the 04 APR 2011.

Ok it has arrived no sign of a SD card or anywhere to place it. Has anyone any ideas on this?

On other matters it does prove my theory that people with short fat fingers should not use small touch screens!
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
