This phone is a really good price but it might be worth noting that it's not wi-fi compatible. It wouldn't bother me personally, especially at that price."Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.

The phone does have wi-fi. The only thing you may not be able to do is share your wi-fi with a laptop or ipod etc (I think you need Android 2.2 for that).0 -

Thanks for the correction. I looked at the specs and couldn't see it.

Fantastic price. I need a new phone, wonder if it could be unlocked onto 3.0

Sorry to be a bit dim, but not sure I understand the relevant page - it says '6 months free internet' and '100 free minutes a month' then further down says 'Just top up £10 each month to get your free minutes and free internet'.
So if I buy this phone for £29.99 then I have to keep paying £10 a month to get the 'free' internet and minutes? If so then not sure why they use the word 'free'.
Can someone kindly enlighten me?0 -

Yes you need to buy £10 worth of credit a month to get the extras free but the extras are still free because you still get £10 credit. Hope that makes sense.0 -
Ok, thanks, that clears it up. I wouldn't use more than 100 minutes a month so not a good deal for me. I think they could make the wording clearer when using the word 'free' with such abandon!!0

It reads to me like the 6 months free internet is valid regardless of topping up, or am I wrong?

Hi I bought a couple of T Mobile phones recently for my kids and put our Virgin sim cards straight in them without needing to unlock.
Virgin piggyback on T Mobile network obviously can't guarantee every phone will work but ours was fine - this is a good deal and am sure my kids would have prefered these  Ah well0 -

Oh & thanks OP, if I hadn't already got one I'd defiantely be buying one. As per previous posts they aren't cutting edge screen-wise but more than sufficient for the casual user and you'll have access to the Android Market for loads of free apps.0
