Thank you Elaine for your advice, I have contacted my bank who have advised that they can get involved but i must wait 30 days to get my money back. I have cancelled all my cards that i have used on their website. I just wish they was a way of letting other people aware of them.

I have just registered with the forums specifically to warn people about this website. I have today spoken with someone from the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, and this website is not only fraudulent but, as mentioned before, the recipient is committing a crime by importing the goods (even though you will not be aware they are coming from abroad when ordering from the site).

I was advised to either return the items received or take them to a vet to be disposed of. Do not throw them in the bin, and do not even consider giving them to your pets.

Apparently, VMD are still actively trying their best to close down the site, but because they are not based in this country there is a problem with jurisdiction.

I was really stupid not to check up on this website before ordering, but I hope this is enough of a warning to others!

I also bought advocate spot on for dogs thinking it was legit until my dog got ear mites and fleas, at that point we thought lets google why this has happened and to my shock it was a fake. I have been so blinded to all this and feel very annoyed at the fact i was duped. Does any one know how this company can be stopped

I ordered Stronghold for my dog over a month ago. I think I can wave goodbye to my payment as nothing was delivered.

I've used a treatment from DiscountPetCare on my dog yesterday. I wish I'd seen this first. Now I'm really worried.

Has anyone found there stuff to be harmful?

I used Advocate. I should have known when I saw it had come from Singapore. I stumbled across the same product on a site that I use for other stuff and became suspicious when they requested a vet prescription.

Now I don't know what I've given him. I'm gutted.

Also, has anyone had any further money taken from their card? They too took more than they should have (less than a pound). I feel so stupid:(

I use this site and they send you exactly what you order, the same as you get at the vets. Some of what has been written on this topic is rubbish. Why be ripped off here with vets overpriced products. I buy Frontline Combo and it is a disgrace that in this country they make it prescription only, it's just to fix the prices high. If these vets and chemist cared more about the animals and the environment they would not be doing this, unfortunately they care only about making lots of money! :mad:
