oh dear - ordered and then cancelled- received email saying Iwould be refunded but havent been so fed up! Tried to order Advocate which was available and then cancelled realising it was cheaper elsewhere with prescription. Will post if I get money back......£19.92.0

I buy quite regularly from Pet Drugs Online and Vet UK - presumably these sites are OK and store the medicines correctly?Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0

I ordered from this site (Advocate for my dog) and it arrived with the customs sticker on - didn't think anything of it as I am not up on all the legalities. Used it on my dog on 11th September and she is ok so far... Worried now though !Wins so far - Numerous Glamour and Rimmel Goodies, 4 tickets to T4OTB, Tiling Tools and Paintbrush, Dova Spa Facial, 5 Tickets to Lynx Allnighter (Halloween party)

I posted about this "Company" back in April, The situation was I ordered Frontline from them which never arrived. I contacted my card provider, and they did a chargeback and I got a refund.
I was therefore interested to read the posting by bpenther in June saying that the site was going to be shut down, as just today I received an e-mail from them offering a 7.5% discount, and when I checked their site is still operating as normally.
My advice to anyone contemplating using discountpetcare.co.uk, is quite simply DON'T!!
As has been said, they are simply using an accommodation address in London, their telephone number has been "experiencing problems" for months. Its time they were shut down!0 -
Regardless of legalities, my product arrived safely today from Germany in 9 days total . Communication with discountpetcare by email was very good. They answered all my questions about cost and delivery.
The medication checked out as genuine with VMD/the manufacturer.

I cancelled my order and got a refund. It took about 5 days. Now got a prescription from my vet and ordered via Chemistonline0

Hello everyone,
Thank you for all the good advice on this site concerning Discountpetcare.co.uk. I read with interest when the item I ordered on the 5th October did not arrive and alarm bells started ringing when their phone did not............
Have taken notice of all advice on here and contacted my credit card company (Tesco) who advise me that the amount plus around an extra £1 has been taken from my account but that it will take 30 days from order before they can raise a dispute.
My main reason for telephoning them was that my card be blocked from this company charging any further amounts against it. I consider the amount lost as a valuable learning curve and warning to check out any online company I consider purchasing from in future.
I am however really surprised that Tesco Finance Fraud Department have said that there is nothing at all they can do about blocking my card to prevent this company taking any further amounts.............They stated that if further amounts were taken they would raise disputes each time but this seems so wrong if further fraudulence could be prevented immediately.
Can anyone advise please?
The amount lost (£22) has taught me an invaluable lesson in online safety as I have always been careful when ordering online. If the item arrives I certainly won't be using it on my pet but am more than a little worried that I can't safeguard my card against this company using my details again.............

Hi there, I have also just been waiting for a delivery which i ordered on 12/10/11 says on one page 2-3 days delivery, and on another 5-6, THEN if not received within 21 days contact them, in which time they have your card details and can clear your account out. CANCEL your card. THIS WEBSITE IS NOT GENUINE ! my bank has stated that i can get my money back - good luck and DO NOT USE THIS SITE!0

First time on here, but wished I had read this ages ago. I first came across this company back in April 2011 when i placed an order for dog/cat Frontline Combo. I tried to contact the company and also sent email to no avail. Then a couple of months later i tried again this time a smaller order which came through ok. Now back in January 2012 i have placed an order again which has not arrived. GRRRRR i should have read this forum sooner.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company. I have tried to ring them and also emailed them and no reply. I have also contacted the trading standards regarding this and they have advised as i paid by visa debit card to go to my bank to try and get the money back. I have now lost more money. :mad:0
