Went to the gym this morning. Used the crosstrainer, rower and the abdominal crunch machine. Felt really great afterwards. Decided to pop into the Bank, Lloyds TSB, before coming home and the cashier greeted me with a smile and a "Are you expecting a baby"!:eek:
Y'all know how hung up I am on my tummy and to hear this  (I really could cry)
I'm 5'4", last weight 9stones 10 Ibs, quite slim, eat relatively healthy, workout like an a55 7 days a week but my tummy is my achilles heel. Was even saying this morning that I'll start Insanity Round 2 on Monday. Don't think I'll bother now.
Haven't had any junk food in almost 2 months, gave up fizzy drinks/juices during the lent and still not gone back on them - only drinking water or tea without sugar.
I could just scoff me a chocolate bar right now. I'm so sad
Aww, Matryoshka. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that.
I would suggest going to see your doctor about it. I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong so please don't panic, but it sounds like it may be something other than extra weight.
I only really say this as a woman who lives down the road had a similar problem. She always looked like she was pregnant (also quite slim otherwise), and my next door neighbour even congratulated her on it. They were both mortified when she found out that she wasn't! The woman told her it was a 'medical condition', I don't know what kind of condition as I doubt she'd want to talk about it, but she seems to have 'got over it' as her tummy is now in proportion to the rest of her. I don't really know what would cause it, possibly a food intolerance or something?
Try not to let it get you down. And don't give up on the exercise as exercise improves the mood, so might help you feel a bit more positive about things.0 -

Matryoska - I agree, if you are working out as much as we all know you are, then you should not 'look pregnant'. This doesn't seem right.0

No great surprise to me but a 2LB Gain Thanks Fred :A
After birthday cake, quiche, donuts and all you can eat Chinese buffet I think 2lb is a good result :rotfl: I have a slightly swollen foot again todayit is more under the arch of my foot then around the ankle and it is very tender to the touch. So I am going to put some ice on it later and see what it is like in the morning.
Polkadot - Congratulations :j that is a turn up for the group. I hope all goes well at your scan, and your not spending too much time in the bathroom.
Matryoshka - Some people can be thoughtless sometimes. I agree with what Lolly said and go see your GP to get to the bottom of it.
Bunny - Good luck with your C25K challenge keep posting and let us know how it goes

Polkadot: Aw congratulations
So pleased for you!!
Matry: Could it not be where you've had 5 children? Most women who are older and have had children always have a bit of a tummy, it must be hard for something to have stretched that big 5 times to be flat! What a stupid woman to say it though, i bet she was a minger.
Alliwant: Yes! Felt really good and i'm really happy. Although filling out lots of forms right now is not fun!!!0 -
