Congratulations Polkadot!!! :j That's great news, and hopefullly the morning sickness won't last too much longer!

Well done Eric! :T It's really amazing how far you have come, and you are a great inspiration to us all!

Alliwant, that party sounds like so much fun! Shame about your ankle, hopefully it won't be too serious and you can get running again soon.

Matryoshka, I can see why they are called suicide jumps!!! They sound scary!

I've been interested in the protein shakes talk, I really struggle for time to make breakfast and can easily slip up by grabbing something inappropriate to eat on the run, so maybe shakes are the answer? It's a lot to pay out though if you don't end up liking them.

Well I'm pleased to report a 3 lb loss. Technically it's only 1 lb as the other two are just cancelling out last week's gain, but I'm still happy as I'm still a step in the right direction.

    I'm also adding another 15.6km - 95 km/59 miles.

73.0 kg today, that's + 0.3 kg from last Wednesday, which in turn was 3 weeks after we went on holiday. I weighed 71.1 kg that Wednesday.

    Hello everyone

Just wanted to pop in (now I have my head out of the porcelain for a bit) to say my weight loss journey is going to have to back on hold for another 9 months;)

Took us 3 years to make the 8 month old we currently have-My 5 year old says this ones 2 more baby brothers for him:eek:

I have spoken to gp who has referred me to consultant with request for early scan.Gawd, can you hear them old bidi's on the bus now?DS2 will only be 15 months when this newbie arrives-I best get cracking on that drivers licence:D

    Not happy :(
a 1lb gain this week

Raph - DON'T let it get you down. I gained 0.4lbs a few weeks ago and it was totally unfair relative to the week I had but it made me take my foot off the pedal and go mad for a few weeks. I have only just reigned it in now. Sometimes the scale can be unfair to you - other times it can be generous. Often I think we should only weigh in monthly to avoid the natural weekly variations but who can weight (weight/wait .... get it???!!!!) that long.

Chin up - tomorrow is another day.

Congratulations Polkadot - that's fantastic news!

I can't remember what I weighed in at last week, but I think it was 143.?? So thais week I'm 142.6 which is probably a loss, bringing me to 7.4lbs lost in total. Better than nothing but I've hit a bit of a wall. Yesterday I actually stuck to my food focus range and I think I did okay if not great on the carb front too:

    Yesterday - cals: 1271 fat: 32g carbs: 148g protein: 94g
    Today - cals: 1251 fat:31g carbs:141g protein: 105g
    Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
    Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off

OK, Eric. I don't know what my % body fat is!!!

I'm not quite 5 ft tall and I weigh 11 1/4 stones. That makes me 'obese' according to the definition I quoted. To be 'overweight' i.e. not obese, I should get down to 10 1/2 stones. That's what I'm trying to do.

We're the same height Margaret

At least I now know it's not just in my head :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Went to the gym this morning. Used the crosstrainer, rower and the abdominal crunch machine. Felt really great afterwards. Decided to pop into the Bank, Lloyds TSB, before coming home and the cashier greeted me with a smile and a "Are you expecting a baby"!:eek:

Y'all know how hung up I am on my tummy and to hear this  (I really could cry) :(

I'm 5'4", last weight 9stones 10 Ibs, quite slim, eat relatively healthy, workout like an a55 7 days a week but my tummy is my achilles heel. Was even saying this morning that I'll start Insanity Round 2 on Monday. Don't think I'll bother now.

Haven't had any junk food in almost 2 months, gave up fizzy drinks/juices during the lent and still not gone back on them - only drinking water or tea without sugar.

I could just scoff me a chocolate bar right now. I'm so sad :(
