I know-DH and were talking about it last night, wondering how many of my 55lbs were just booze and mixers (my favourite tipple has been brandy and coke-and I could easily have done 1 brandy and 4litres of coke over a week end).
Im currently doing my meal plan for next week as we'll have to go out for fruit and veg-so I'll get some driving practice in too.Im looking forward to getting my licence as there's a co op at our local sure start centre every friday-but it's not a walk I can do on my own. It's just a !!!!!! trying to budget my new meal plans AND riving lessons and tests so I cant wait for it all to be over.0 -

Coca cola is known to have huge amounts of sugar. Diet coke contains artificial sweeteners. None of it is good news!
Brandy is alcohol, and the liver has to metabolise alcohol before starting to deal with food that has been digested.
I didn't drink to any great extent while on holiday. On 2 occasions I had half a pint of 'real beer'. Mostly when eating out nowadays I have sparkling water with ice and lemon, or slimline tonic with ice and lemon.
One thing I've discovered is that it doesn't suit me having an evening dinner. Well, that is one of the things that makes a difference. At home we have tea around 5, and that might consist of a cheese sandwich, nothing much after that apart from an apple.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Vix How exciting!!! Well done again.
Hoping the run of forum luck continues. I'll find out this week if either of my paintings will be in the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy! THOUSANDS enter their work so not holding out much hope but I'm still getting worked up.
Went for a run this morning. Managed 7.2km but forgot to time us. Going for another little run tomorrow morning with another friend so hopefully I won't feel the loss of my crosstrainer for a few days. Just got to keep on plan foodwise!!!!
Have a good day and enjoy the sun if you can.
P.s Vix My avatar is of one of the paintings I've entered.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -

This week is the last week for the N v S challenge.
Does anyone fancy an East v West challenge next month?
Also the suggestion of logging the time you exercise was a good one for the exercise challenge - does anyone have any other suggestions?
Where's puddings these days? I hope he's ok?0 -
