Btw did anyone read todays Metro? Can't find the metro link, but here's the daily mail one:
Britains fattest teenager now anorexic
I really feel sorry for her.Imagine going from super obese and being told you could die to anorexic and being told you could die. It must feel awful. That's the thing with gastric band surgery, it doesn't deal with people's relationship with food.

Here's this weeks chart:
Congratulations to our joint SoTW BettyB and jc27.
Well done to all the losers and stsers, commiserations to the gainers this week - keep posting and keep plodding a new month has started.
Here's the latest chart for April's Marathon challenge:
Congratulations to Eric for completing the Marathon this week :T
Here's the first chart for this months Eurovision challenge:
You will notice the number 1 before all the city names - this indicates the circuit number that you are on. I think I've got all the distances posted this week - if I've missed any please let me know.
Here's the chart for this months team challenge:
Congratulations to the Southern Stunners who are continuing their winning ways :T Come on Buckfast beauties - you can do it.
This weeks quote is from Evan Esar
"Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation, perspiration and inspiration."0 -
Lolly,MrP is trying to watch Harry Potter...and I just interrupted him with my giggling.I tried to explain the challenge to him and all he did was roll his eyes:pIm not meant to do all that distance-no wonder Im feeling so bloomin' sore today.Back home we had a tern for it "Eina Bliksem!"(Pronounced Ayna blixem) Ive never been able to describe my pain in english so that it feels quite as satisfying...
Lol, I explained it to DS and he thinks it's hilarious! He keeps asking me, 'So, where are you going tonight, mummy?' and 'Have you been to Disneyland yet?' (as I told him that France was one of the countries taking part).
Aww, make the most of your rest day tomorrow, although I know it's not easy with little ones around!Teams so far in the rematch of the Buckfast beauties (North) and the current Champions Southern Stunners (South).
If you want to join in this challenge it's not too late
If you're neither North or South but would like to join I'll set up an inbetweeners team
I am happy in the Northerners team, although you can't get much more 'inbetween' then where I am. Someone told me once that Alfreton, Derbyshire is in the very centre of the UK (or was it England?), and I'm less than 10 miles north of there!
Thanks, Princess X.0 -
Congrats Betty on the engagement :j Do I have long to pick my virtual hat?
Polkadot - I know that you didn't sign up to the challenge - but log your walking and see where you end up
Hope you're all out voting tomorrow?
I'm up all tomorrow night counting - 2 constituencies and 3 polls in each - it'll be major chaos - hopefully it'll be a bit organised though :rotfl:. We have to go back to count the AV votes on Friday afternoon , IMO it would have been better to get them all done at the same time.0 -

not that uncommon, many obese+ people suffer from body dispmorphia and it very easily switches from one way to the other
something i am trying to be concious of, the bodpod helps with this as it gives an accurate goal0 -

What are people's feelings on Harcombe? I'd rather eat protein, but carbs are already in the house, so it's a lot easier and cheaper to have a fat free meal than a carb free one - ie lunch today was 2 small slices homemade bread and homemade parsnip soup - very carb heavy but no fat... but I don't know if this will work.
My bad weekend has caught up with me when I finally braved the scales today - 3lbs on - bringing my total loss down to only 6.4lbsDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
