Morning y'all. Wake up sleepy heads :rotfl:
This is Recovery Week in Insanity. I've completed 4 weeks month 1, now recovery week, then the final 4 weeks month 2. The same exercise is done this week. It's less intense but still burns especially the leg and shoulder exercises. Ouch!!
Fred, Core Cardio & Balance - 37minutes

Hello everyone
It is a 2.4lb loss for me this week, thanks Fred. Much better than last week, but still not where I want to be or where I am capable of being. I only did my bike once last week, and had two pieces of chocolate cake over the weekend for the boyfriend's birthday. The exercise bike seems like such a chore at the moment, but I really need to get back into it.
I am now 1.6lbs away from reaching my 3 stone lost mark - my aim is to have lost 5 stone total by my birthday in October, in order to do so I need to lose 2.2lbs on average each week for the next 14 weeks. I really hope that I can achieve this, but to be honest I'm not feeling all that confident.
Things are difficult at the moment, I am feeling very deprived in a lot of areas of my life. I am trying to pay off my (interest free) overdraft in time for christmas, whilst also adding to my 'car fund' for all car based expenses, and put a further £100 away a month for general savings - this is leaving me with not very much cash for treats, or anything nice really at all. Added on to that, I hate my job, and feel like I'm not valued there - so at the end of the day when I can't go home and indulge, whether it be on food or spending, it's leaving me feeling very deprived and depressed. I wonder why I need so much indulgence in my life? Presumably because I am not content. Hmm.
Anyway, just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone here for all your support, and just being here really. Special thanks to dmv and alliwantistosave for your words of wisdom this week - I know I have to keep plodding on, but giving up just seems so tempting sometimes...
Sorry for the sob story! :rotfl:0 -
I actually don't see the bike as a chore because I always do something else too
I get a magazine or a book to read or even put my laptop on a big flat hard cover book and browse the net
I know I probably don't give 100% then but one hour is done in no time and I'm sure I still burn some calories
that's why the gym and swimming are a bit more boring imo, but again I always have my music on in the gym and try to think about something important or creative(what to cook for dinner, how to make my dream about finding new job and flat come true, etc.
) while swimming...
Just downloading Insanity  If I get it ok, will have a look at it tonight and see if I'm brave enough... :rotfl:
Done pretty lots of exercise(and still on it : the bike :P) today but will update later when I've done it all...0 -

I watch my shows while I'm on my bike, but I'm hammering away at 30-32kmph, so it definitely feels like a chore compared to lying about watching my shows! :rotfl:0 -
