What does everyone think of Fruit in a diet? Should it be calorie counted vigorously along side other food or can you be lenient over it?

Are there any near zero calorie fruits?

try to focus on low GI fruit which will release there sugar slowly

personally i try to go for 4 veg to 1 fruit, too much fruit will elevate blood sugar

World of Tights - don't give up. We all have times when we want to give up but just keep plodding and it will be worth it in the end :D

    Well done losers :rotfl:

    Welcome onboard newbies :j

I have a quick question for y'all. Must we eat even if not hungry??? I know breakfast is the most important meal of the day so I never skip this but this morning, I simply was not hungry  Don't know if it was the ice-cream of yesterday :D

I woke up, had some water, did my Insanity exercise, had loads more water, drank a cup of tea and that was it until now when I'm having my lunch and I'm not wolfing it down as not ravenous. I kept on thinking that I should eat something. What do you think?

I think delay it, the most irratating thing about being insulin dependent diabetic is having to eat with the injections 3/4 times a day but if you are not hungry, don't need anything, don't want to eat just delay it, I actually had a day like that today, did not have breakfast until nearly 10, my lunch was gone 2, dinner gone 6 that type of thing.

STS for me this week. TBH I didn't really deserve a loss so can't be too upset about it, and at least I've not gained. I've been really active this week, but my diet has been awful. Things will hopefully settle down a bit now and I'll have a bit more time to make proper meals, which will help get me back on track. I'm also getting into my exercise regime so sticking to that should be easier.

Congratulations to everyone who lost this week :T

73.1 kg this morning. That's + 0.4 kg from last Wednesday morning.

I just do not seem to be able to get down from 73 kg or thereabouts.

My activity programme for this week fell apart. I went for my swimming lesson on Monday morning, half an hour trying to swim (!!!) then 45 mins stretch-and-tone for 50+ in the local WI hall. Monday was the hottest day of the year and maybe it was too much to do both on the same morning. Yesterday morning I didn't want to eat, felt sicky, didn't have a lot - half a grapefruit then a mouthful of mushrooms poached in rapeseed oil on a mouthful of toast. I love mushrooms done that way but just couldn't manage them.

I wanted to go to swimming in retirement in the afternoon, was feeling better by then and I'd asked DH to go with me, but his knee was hurting too much - he knew that wet weather was coming and his knee, as always, wasn't wrong.

Today I've had a one-egg omelette with a slice of Leerdammer lighter life cheese. No carbs. I'm beginning to feel as if I don't want food at all.

Hi all, sorry for going awol for a few weeks, been under a bit of stress trying to start a new business and loosing weight went a bit out the window. Weight is back up to 141.8lbs, which I think is around a 1.4lb gain. Which for a month isn't appauling all things considered. On the plus side I've started on my cross trainer again, only found time twice a week so far, would like to get it up to 3 or 4 times but I'll take what I can get atm. Also starting 30 Day Shred in July (aiming for 25 days as I'm away a lot), would be great to loose 5lbs by the start of August when I go on holiday. Wanted to be back to my wedding weight but that would be a 12lb loss so I can't see that happening in 4 weeks!

61KG this morning. Target weight is 60KG so still 1KG away from target. Can't remember what I weighed last week so I'm either STS or 1kg loss ;)

If I'm very good, i.e. very very good I should be able to lose the 1KG soon. Innit? :rotfl::rotfl:

Insanity was good this morning. Much better than yesterday as it was cooler :j

PS. Google says 61kg is 9 stones 6 Ibs. My target is 60kg which I thought was 9 stones 7 Ibs so I'm confuzzled :rotfl: Have I reached my target weight of 9½stones????
