Back from the Family Fun Day. I had 2 icecreams - a cornetto and a maltersers icecream :rotfl::rotfl:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES

Hey Everyone,
Well my diet has gone out of the window for the last few days. I've not been eating much, but what I have eaten has been rubbish! I ate really well today (maybe too well), I then spoilt it by shopping at Morrisons - they have the best bakery so try not to shop there! Ended up giving in to a fresh cream strawberry gateau - my favourite! Went to my dad's after and picked a load of strawberries from the garden so had them with it when we got back - heaven!!! I don't know how many cals there were in it but it was definitely worth it!!!
Have spent the last few days sorting out car stuff and am finally picking my new car up tomorrow :j:j:j:dance:
She's a Citroen C3 called Ella (Citroen Ella, lol!). Can't wait!!!
I've been pretty good with the exercise, although it has been 'lazy exercise' - on the bike, so sat on my bum the whole time. I've been doing at least 500 cals each night, so hoping that will help to counteract the poor diet. Think I'll be able to get back on track once I've finally bought Ella as I've spent so much time looking at cars that I've been letting other things slip
.
For the challenge next month, I've been thinking that doing pledges might be a good idea, as it means that everyone can take part and can choose something that they are interested in doing, and are able to do, rather than going along with something that they're not keen on.
So we could pledge anything from taking a 20 min walk every other day, to running X amount of miles over the month, to trying so many new exercises, or beating time/distance records. I really want to get back into the habit of using some of the fitness games I've got so would probably aim to do Zumba on the wii 10 times in a month.
I'm sure there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't think what. Will be back later if I remember!0 -
This evening i could just done with cereal for dinner - but then my parents came back with fish and chips!! Boooo, so i obviously had to eat them!
Tanning has come along nicely, bit pink but that will go brown fo shizzle.
Maryoshka: Do you ever hate having two of the same thing in one day? It really freaks me out if i do!! I couldn't have crisps more than once that is for sure. Now you've said ice cream, i really fancy going to the coast and getting one now its cooler!0 -
I have had a busy few days helping my daughter to move house. Lots of lifting and putting flat pack furniture together; feeling shattered, but not much in the way of planned 'excercise'.
Also had a chinese take away and a chocolate muffin (from Morrisons bakery Lolly) as we just didn't have time to cook. Hoping this hasn't done too much damage to this weeks weight loss.

0.4lbs loss this week for me. Not even an entire pound...
I have been feeling unwell this week - I have a sore throat and a cold, but I haven't used it as an excuse to eat rubbish. The only thing that I have eaten that isn't strictly to plan is soothers... I still did my bike three times this week, albeit not over the weekend as I didn't feel well enough.
I actually just feel like giving up right now.0 -
World_of_tights - dont give up! If you are unwell the best advice from those here and those at my slimming world is "be kind to yourself". That doesnt mean eat a different takeaway every night but realise you wont want to cook or exercise the same as normal and thats ok, just do the best you can and accept that it can also do funny things to your weight that will even out once you are better and back to normal. I am very "lucky" i suppose that I kept my weight off for the year that i was off the diet but thats never happened before and if you arent happy (like i still wasnt hence the coming back for more loss) you will come back to it at some point and probably have to start all over again which just is not worth it. Even if you are plodding along you are on the right track so keep plodding till you have more energy to sprint0

1.5lbs loss for me.
I'm now 131lbs. I haven't been continuing on the climbing challenge though. I usually don't like leaving things uncompleted but just no time to climb. Will deffo try to finish in time for the end of the month.
Will be weighing in again on friday and measure bodyfat% and muscle%. 2 months holiday, flying out on saturday. Is it weird that I'm dreading it as much as I'm excited? My family in the middle east don't know anything about healthy, so I'm so scared that they're gonna force me to fatten up (trust me they don't take too kindly to a no). I guess i need to learn to be firm, but also will come up against the greatest temptations. It's like the biggest loser, the greatest challenge for me in my weight loss journey. Gaining some weight is inevitable i think, as i would only be able to do limited exercise, and their idea of healthiness is mixed with tonnes of oil :rotfl:. But it's how much i've learnt in terms of nutrition that's really going to test me, as this is reality, in terms of knowing to eat smaller portions, in terms of accurately guessing which foods have the lowest cals, but also which have the lowest carbs and ultimately the best balance.
I guess i'll see when i get back on the 26th August. Would hope for an STS, but wouldn't mind a 1lb or 2lb gain. The hardest part would be getting back on track i'd imagine. Besides all that, really excited.0 -

Well done losers :rotfl:
Welcome onboard newbies :j
I have a quick question for y'all. Must we eat even if not hungry??? I know breakfast is the most important meal of the day so I never skip this but this morning, I simply was not hungry  Don't know if it was the ice-cream of yesterday
I woke up, had some water, did my Insanity exercise, had loads more water, drank a cup of tea and that was it until now when I'm having my lunch and I'm not wolfing it down as not ravenous. I kept on thinking that I should eat something. What do you think?SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:
