County Court Judgment?

Hey,

I wasn't sure the best place to put this so I hope this is right. I recently applied for a credit card and was just told on the phone to them that I have a CCJ under my name for a previous address I lived in.

I knew nothing about this and have no idea how to go about finding out who has put it on?

Experian won't let me in to see my credit report because apparently I have an old account that I can't get access to. Are there any others I can try? Is this the only way to find out?

Ohh this is not good, right?

Thanks for any help.

    http://www.trustonline.org.uk/

will tell you CCJ for £8

    3 main CRA

    Equifax
    Experian
    Call Credit

    Personally try trustonline or Equifax.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

    PRESS THANKS

Not good as you dont know who the CCJ is with, but dont worry as some can dealt with easily.

Sometimes all CRA's don't get reported to, some stuff appears on one but not the other two etc.

I'd do what king100 says and try trustonline, then you'll know for definite.

lol, maybe the credit card company credit checked the wrong person!

When you looked on Equifax did you add as many old addresses as you could, going back as far as you could?
