    lol, maybe the credit card company credit checked the wrong person!

    When you looked on Equifax did you add as many old addresses as you could, going back as far as you could?

    It didn't ask me for previous addresses? Oh I'm so confused.

    I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.

    If the CCJ is registered at an old address then if you only use your current address it won't come up.

    When getting your report from Equifax they would have asked for previous addresses.

    Wouldent trust search you by name and current adress then follow that back or do you need to know address that CCJ was issued to?

    Never used service so dont know myself

    How can they do a proper search without previous addresses? It's probably why the CCJ isn't showing up, because they aren't searching enough info.

    It's been a few years since I needed to get my credit report from Equifax, but I've just looked at mine and there are a few previous addresses under "Personal Information", so I must have added them somehow.

    When I set up my report with credit expert I only included a handful of addresses over the last couple of years. Only when I updated my report with more addresses going back 10 years did more information pop up about old credit accounts.
