Morning. :j
Had a shaky night again. I can't wait until baby sleeps through.Although, probably because i could keep up with just breast feeding yesterday, so he wasn't bunged to bursting with formula, he managed to squeeze in an extra feed last night. Thanks for those of you encouraging me to persevere.
good news - DH found my BM paddle, which had been thrown in the bin. What a relief. Also, i had my marking feedback (from SAT marking in May/June) and it was good, so i will automatically get offered a contract for next year. Excellent news as i will not be paid from March onwards, so i'm planning to do extra to tide us over to september. Baby is now sleeping, so i've managed to sort out a few loads of washing, and will catch up a bit today.
bad news - the cat is poorly again, as i discovered when i stood in a pile of sick when i came downstairs to get a glass of water in the night. It will teach me to turn on lights and watch where i am going.
Happy birthday wishes (belatedly) to Chipps and Kiwichick.
Good luck RZL with the long anticipated move.
PP - enjoy your overnight break. Try not to worry too much about DH at the moment, as you don't know anything just yet, and it won't benefit your health either.
Going to go while the going is good, and put the next load in the WM and start peeling veggies to make a bottom of fridge and cupboard soup before we go away visiting the in-laws this weekend. First trip away overnight with Charlie, so fingers crossed i remember to pack everything we need. Although i am totally confused by how many clothes we may need as he has been so sicky this week.
Hugs to you all.

Had a mad busy week and I think I need to get significantly better at planning as I have already clocked up 1200 miles and I am shattered. Kent to Glasgow - an interesting journey:rolleyes: Work has got really busy lately which is great news but I am wondering if life would be better if there were more working days in week and that is worrying!!!:D
Back home tomorrow then I plan on putting my feet up and letting other people look after me for a couple of days;) before it all starts again on Mon.
So in essence zero OS this week although I will wear my home made scarf (made in the slow cooker and breadmaker of course:T ) and I may declutter my make up bag when Im bored in the hotel later:rotfl:
Right best get back to work I suppose - the wheels of finance need some oiling:j
Rzl -hope the move is relativley stress free and you enjoy your first night in your new home:T :T (sorry bout your grandma hun)
Hugs to all

Afternoon all
Good luck for the move BRzl - hope all goes well and sorry to hear about your loss.
Hugs all round to those in need.
A bit bleary eyed today - DD2 came down with the dreaded tummy bug last night - there's so much of it doing the rounds but I get really panicky when either of them are sick - It's a real phobia of mine - luckily DH did the first mopping up - (always the worst especially when she made it to the bathroom but only as far as the door --- opppps) I can cope with it after that - she finally fell asleep at 5.30am (nearly 9 hours of sickness - poor little thing). So this morning has been a case of washing duvets and countless towles - I've steam cleaned the bathroom and her mattress and she's now out for the count in my bed snoring away.
OS wise - the soda crystals and stardrops got a good using last night and the microfibre cloths have brought the bathroom up a treat
Will not cook tonight - we'll all have something fairly light - egg on toast etc - I'd imagine we'll all get the bug in one form or another over the next few days so best to keep food to a minimum and just push lots of fluids through.
Have a lovely afternoon all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Hello,
I'm pretty new to this website but I have been influenced by your OS ways and I thank you for it. I thought I'd better introduce myself because it would be nice to get to know you all... sometimes it can get a bit lonely! I'm also pretty scared posting on the threads because you all seem to know each other!
Tonight I'm cooking a huge batch of spag bol (8 portions for two of us) so I can start stocking up my freezer! I'm also picking up slow cooker today from Freecycle, will check the index thread for some nice recipes.
I alos got a panny Breadmaker from freecycle and have been eating HM pizzas and rolls thanks to you lot!
Well sorry if I'm rambling on about nothing just wanted to show my apreciation!

Hello Everyone
Back at work after 2 days off. Needed more time really, but couldn't find cover so had to go without.
Very tired, as I only had about an hours sleep last night - wasn't feeling well.
Hoping to see a friend for coffee soon, but not holding my breath.
Christmas puds are made now, and getting ready for the big event
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Hi
I am new to this thread.
I am getting some brilliant tips from the main OS forum. Shopping and meal planning has become more fun. Finding bargains gives me a real buzz. We are living on less, so it is becoming a necessity too.
I am using our Bread Maker more and we invested in a slow cooker this year too.
We are not American either but making our version of a Thanksgiving dinner tonight.
Southern Fried Chicken
Mash
Sweet Potato
Sweetcorn
Cranberry Sauce
For pudding - a Peach Cobbler. We had this in Atlanta and thought it was great. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
