OS Thursday 23rd November

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for xx (add date). This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints.

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning Peeps!!

No one up yet:confused::D

Good morning. It's been a long week and it's only Thursday! The weather is terrible and I am getting pretty tired.

Anyway On the whole things seem to be going Ok. I was invited out to a Christmas party in December which was great news as I thought there was none this year.

    Anyway off to the mill.....

morning ageandjo and everyone that follows:)

cat woke me up scratching at my bed this morning, i think she wanted to go outside! its still dark so i cant see what the weather is going to be like today.

being a lazy moo this morning, popped up the co op last night and there was some hovis bread rolls reduced to 40p for 6 so bought them and havent made a loaf (lazy but still moneysaving:)) also picked up some mincemeat as i will make some mince pies today for the kids lunchboxes...if they make it that far:D

havent posted for a few days as its been hectic here! my stock room is fit to bursting so i have a friend round friday to fix me up some more shelving which should make things easier i hope:) business is booming and i am running around like a nutter trying to keep up. have had 3 deliveries this week so far and have 2 more to come lol but i love it when they arrive its like my birthday unwrapping all those "parcels".;)

today i will be trying to finish off some more orders and tonight i am planning to make some more xmas cards, im hoping to have those finished by next week. i also want to make a gardeners soap for my mum and my grandad who are both avid gardeners so will see if i have time this afternoon for that.

had a stocktake of all the xmas prezzies ive bought so far,i am actually doing better than i thought:) not that many to go now!

lunch will be - thrown together from leftovers from fridge;)
dinner will be - roast chicken and trimmings.yummmmmmm.

will finish cuppa now and then tend to the masses,

    have a great day all

    Morning!

I am back again, just nipped to Tesco for some ciggies and milk.
I have been so busy packing/cleaning the home before saturday, last night OH decided to pull the cooker out because I had to clean behind it, he gave it one hug yank and the flippin door smashed and glass shattered everywhere:rolleyes: Typical....we wernt taking it with us as we have bought a double range cooker but I thought it might do someone but it wont now, its heading for the tip:rolleyes:
Stardrops were put to their test on cleaning behind the cooker, the came up trumps:T Just squirted a load on and left for 20 mins and it came off:j
Most things are packed but there is a tip run to do and a bit of washing before that gets disconnected. Freezer is empty apart from 1 solero, fridge only has milk in, nothing else to eat in the house so I have bought a BLT sarnire just now from Tesco for my breakfast:eek: :D
Anyway.........hope eveyone is well and happy?

    Morning everyone

Havn't been able to get on properly the last few days as internet access has been playing up. So have bite the bullet and decided to get into the 21st century and get broadband :T

Went back to work on Monday. First of all had a bit of good news in that I got a pay rise. I had got one just recently when I started a new job but it turned out it wasn't correct. First rise was only a quarter of what it should have been so happy days :j

That was the only good thing that day. At work we got our 2007 holiday requests back and I have not got any of the holidays I wanted. My hubby's work shuts for the last two weeks of July so we are kinda stuck with when we can go and although I told my work this it has just been ignored and I have been allocated the last two weeks of June. This is also outwith the school holidays as well
I am going to try and appeal as other people I work with have got thattime off and the selection process used is length of service and I have been there longer.

Yesterday I had a hospital appt. as I have been having pains in my upper abdomen. Docs *think* I have gallstones but I have to go back for another scan to have it confirmed. They have told me to cut out fat from my diet but we hardly ever eat fatty foods. They said although this can be the main cause it can also be hereditiary. So thanks Dad ;)

Anyway, todays plans are the weekly shop. Also have five new books to collect from the library :j
Was home early yesterday so managed to get two loads of washing done and all rooms tidied and hoovered so not much to be done today. But I am sure something will come up

Well I have rambled for way too long.

Have a great day folks :D
