  • bargain, good luck with your moe and i hope you have many happy years in your new home, sorry to hear about your loss.

gingham ribbon - just wanted to say i sympathise completely with hating pregnancy, im 18 weeks and really not having a good time, have spd and they seem determined ill develop pre eclampsia, i like your small milestones plan, may have to steal that :D

ok so todays plans, im off to the shop in a bit to get some stardrops, yep youve rubbed off on me! and some baking bits as ive run out of a few bits this week. then im off to a group of breastfeeding peer supporters im part of. possibly into town after it. then home for tea of lasagna i think, its not whats on the meal plan but im trying to use up the random stuff in the kitchen before i uy new things for the plan. i have lasagna but i dont have tuna for the planned tuna pasta bake so thats the plan

then basically as much cleaning and studying as possible, im finding some days im really not up to it so im not setting firm plans at the moment just what i can do when plans.

hope you all have good days

    Morning everyone :)

Sorry to hear about your gran BargainRzl, mine died about 20 years ago and I still miss her so much :(

Another day at work for me but I should be leaving early today so I intend to do more housework and organise my ebay stuff this afternoon/evening.
If I get time I may even make the weekabix brownies as well! ;)

OH is away until tomorrow night and my DD is at her nan's for the night so it's just me and the dog. Therefore, I am going to try and make the most of my time this evening organising selling my stuff on ebay and using the money to buy some more xmas gifts. I'm doing well so far.

This week has flown by, I hope the weekend doesn't go as quick

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Morning!

Wow! "Wicked" was brilliant! :T Costumes, lights and the special effects, especially defying gravity were incredible. Even OH said we should go back and see it again! Last night it was the understudy/standby for the part of Elphaba (wicked witch) and she was fab! Wonderful voice! It was strange seeing Nigel Planer as the wizard as I kept (unfairly) expecting him to do a Neil from the young ones!:D

Oh well back to reality! Have to rest up today to recover but will attempt a small amount of ironing, just to keep on top of it. Also must find out how a friend of mine is doing, she has just had major surgery, and see if she is up to a visit. Tomorrow I am going on a taster session for the expert patient programme with a friend who has ms, so should be interesting.

Gingham - Hope the trimester flies by for you and you soon have the joy of your lovely baby in your arms.

Csarina - hope you feel better soon!

Mrs Mix - hope the pain eases for you soon.

Twink - I just wanted to say thank you as I found your post on freezing kale, so that is what I have done with the load I got in the veg box this week:T

Hope your moves go ok AgeandJo and Bargain Rzl! Stressful but worth it!
(((Hugs))) Brgn Rzl for the loss of your Grandmother.

Have as good a day as possible!

  • Morning all

Not a very happy susiesaver here today. As I've said before I have health problems (arthritis and back probs) and I'm now at the stage where I'm seriously considering having to give up work. I only work part time but it is becoming too much for me. I will really hate giving up as I am a fiercely independent person.

Sorry for the moan everyone , just needed to get it off my chest and I know you are all good listeners. Off to the benefits board now to see if I may be entitled to any help. What would I do without this site!:T

Bargain Rzl, so sorry for your loss.

    Hope everyone has good day.

O/H home today:D will get the chance to actually eat our evening meal together which will be a first in about 3 weeks. Dreading what our phone bill will be like in Dec as other than the odd "hello" & "goodbye" when passing by we have been communicating by mobile:eek: since October.

Hope the move goes to plan Rzl:D & so sorry to hear of your loss.

Better get my bum in gear, hugs to all, take care

B Rzl: Good luck on the move and ((hugs)) on the loss of your grandma

(((hugs))) to everyone else who's feeling ill or who just needs one :

Thanks for the heads up about Thanksgiving. I'm not American but I do have a pumpkin and I've never had pumpkin pie, so may make that today. I'll have to check the cupboards to see if I have everything in, but if not, I needed to get a few bits anyway.

Did lots of work yesterday (you can tell I still love it cos I can use the full word :rotfl:) so just need to make a couple of phone calls and send some emails and then I can devote time to OS, the home, wrapping Xmas pressies etc. I have loads of laundry to do today, but those dreadful storms have passed so I may get a couple of hours of line drying time before the next lot come. It's gloriously sunny here ATM.

I'm going away tomorrow for the weekend - guess who with :D 2 nights in a luxury hotel, fine wine and dining in the evening, shopping during the day and access to a gym/health spa thrown in too. Well, Mr TM is always away from home so it's my turn to leave him with the kids. Talking of which, I'd better make sure there's enough decent food that's easiy prepareable in the fridge/freezer. Best tell him how to use the new oven too!!

Right, next load ready for the WM. BM needs to go on and DW needs unpacking. Kids beds need stripping and kitchen floor needs a good mopping. I suppose I ought to get dressed first though :D

    Have a good day everyone

Vacuum has just been delivered after its service and unblocking! Will hoover later.

Had scrambled egg on toast for brekkie

Treating DH to home made cauliflower cheese for lunch and tea will be sausage and mash - sausages, onions, tomatoes and gravy in slow cooker and mash will be potatoes, carrots and swede mashed together.

Quite spooky as anniebooklover has the same brekkie and someone else is having the same tea!!!!

I am sorry about your grandmother and hope you can fling yourself into the move as it may help.

    Morning everybody

BRZL - sorry to hear of your loss and as said before good luck with you move and I hope it helps to keep your mind occupied.

Feeling good today, dd and I have done the school run and pooped to Mr T's and Boots. Tesco's had BOGOF's on large choccie selection packs and Boots have 1/2 price on crackers, cards and wrapping paper etc. so many bargains to be found.

Oh doesn't think he got his job that he went for an interview for yesterday, the closer to christmas it gets the less likely it is he will find a job until january. Have made a rough calculation that if he is not in work by Jan 10th we will have to dip into our Oz savings which will be pretty gutting. Received a lovely email from my SIL out there, we are so looking forwards to it and to be honest we are still going to go regardless of what money we do or don't have!

This has given me a kick up the backside to do some more ebay listings so had better pop off and get selling!

    Hugs to everyone :)
  • Penelope Penguin......any chance of an idiots guide recipie for the pumpkin rissotto please?
