Ryan Air - Admin Fee

Just booked with RA, can anyone tell me if they still require "advanced passenger info" for Spain?
It's the Spanish authorities that require this information, not Ryanair.
And the answer is yes, API is still required. Ryanair use the information that you input via online check-in to pass onto the relevant Spanish authorities.0 -
What admin fee are we talking about?
There's an online check-in fee and a credit card fee.
How do you checki-in online if you don't pay the fee?
If you don't check in online don't they charge you about £40 at the airport?
The site mentioned in this thread involves the credit or debit card fee.
The online check-in fee is totally different and is applied to non-sale fares. A different subject altogether though..

I know it`s the Spanish that require it but previously when I booked a flight a box would pop up and ask you for the info there and then.
Also there was a link on their home page that you could click to give the info in advance.
I`m assuming that they request it now at the time you check in online.0 -
When I look now at the terms and conditions I see it says it expires in two years. Yet when I got mine I'm certain that it was three years.
Have a looke here at term 6. At the start it says that it will continue indefinitely. Yet the last paragraph states that it lasts for just two years.

Thanks Steve-xx and it also says:
Your Prepaid Card will be valid for 2 years. You may apply, on our website, for a renewal up to 2 months before expiry of the Prepaid Card. This renewal will run for a further two years and your balance will be transferred to the new card
I`ve just looked at the expiry on the front of my card and it says 01/10-01/13.
Maybe they have altered the period since I got mine.0 -
i used the euro card for the french leg as a single flight the price comes up in euros there was no charge on the fx card ibooked it as a offer with no online booking fee total cost 6 euros

The information you give at online check-in is used as the advance passenger information.0 -

Yes, but last year I needed to order a card, and by the time it came the cost of the flights had gone up by nearly £100!0 -
TBH I also do not convince buying RA ticket via screen scraper.
Why the agent want to sell RA if they do not make money at all.
Unless more than a dozen of people have tested it and confirm it.
Also from the other side, RA do not have incentive at all to sell their cheap ticket through screen scraper. This has been through the courts in several countries since 2008. The RyanAir T&C state that they can cancel tickets not booked directly through their website. The full Terms of Use can be found here - para 2 applies in this case.
There was alot of hoo-ha in the press over the years. Eg here0 -

Snap. I never got round to ordering one either. (I did look at the card but never go round to organising one and have missed out previously because I refuse to pay the fees) Wether people choose to use their card or book through TR - the main point is, we are saving money.0 -
Dont know why people bad mouth ryanair flights. Have flown with thm many tims booked through ryanairs own website an also travel republic. If you follow instructions when booing to the letter, eg not going over bagagge limit only one piece of hand luggage etc you will have no problem. Ryanair are always on time, it is a no frills airline so if you want luxury dont fly withthem! By the way save yourself some money 10kg of cabbin luggage is plenty for a wees holiday, no waiting at the carousel and no hold baggage charges:jenjoy every day, you dont know how long youve got!:o0
