I think everyone is entitled to it cos it went to the ombudsman an established a precident.0

This thread is a bit of a farce - some guy got some token compensation and now thinks everyone can get it - best of luck to anyone
PS - If you want us all to apply, maybe you can give details of how you got compensation, the process you followed and how it got to the regulator0 -
Hello
I know it is a long time since your post regarding the Cellnet (now O2) PUFL Pay Upfront For Life package.
I am stuck on the 200 landline minutes per month but would like to change to the 50 minutes anytime to mobiles/landline.
I did keep ALL of the info and contract I received when I purchased the phone but cannot see anything that states I can swap from the 200 minutes to 50 minutes (once a month forever)
Do you have a copy of your paperwork that you could email me ?
I had sent a personal memo to you account but you probably have not seen it.

Hi Paul, it was definitely there somewhere. If youve got the sales leaflet/t&c etc and theres nothing there about swapping tarrif, then the only other place that i think that it could be, was on the application form.
Good luck0 -
Hi
I have all the original paperwork, silver and blue leaflets etc. I bought mine from an internet shop, in 2000. It all in the loft so I would have to get it down to check it.
I was connected on the 50 txt messages a month tariff, but I decided after a month to change to 200 mins off peak a month. When I phoned to do this in 2000 I was told you could only ever change the tariff once. This could be a load of CS rubbish though. I can't say I remember reading that you could change every month though.
The reason for me seeking out this thread is I just looked at the back of my bill - tariffs.
Looks like they have gone up!
I'm sure that weekend calls to landlines and O2 phones used to be 1p/min, now it is 2p¬! When did this happen and surely they are not allowed to change the prices as it is a contract phone?0 -
No i don't believe the prices have gone up. The only change has been them dropping 0854 and 0870 numbers from the free minutes0

Delayed thanks for that info. I still think its amazing that that are allowed to wriggle a change like that into all those contacts. Surely a contract is a contract?0

Hi Everyone,
Just became aware of this thread in the last couple of days whilst searching for a cheap contract for my mother - lucky, because using my wife's PUFFL phone to text my daughter tonight, I noticed that this month's bill is over £4.00 Why? We don't use the 200 mins/month or anything like. So why am I paying anything. It looks like I've been switched and I haven't had a letter.
So I just dug out the old BT Cellnet silver package and I have a copy of the contract that I sent off, but not the reverse side - the side with all the small print. Has anyone got a copy of the PUFFL contact T&C's that they could email to me?
Many thanks in advance

xRayDave - if your wife's phone is on the same OffPeak 200 minutes PUFFL deal that I'm on, it doesn't include any text messages - so you'll be being charged for every text sent, which soon adds up at 12p each.0

Have a search of these forums for PUFL if you want to read of other peoples experiences with this amazing tarriff!Hi Everyone,
Just became aware of this thread in the last couple of days ...

Many of us have been getting a new phone (free) every 12 months for several years now - although it seems recently not to be working for some people.0
