O come off it m8........I dont have to explain or justify anything to you .

I' ve already done it to the people that count IE OTELO not YOU!

OTELO have reached a provisional conclusion that O2 have breached the T&C of the contract in that they are not allowing me to swap between the 200 and 50 min call plans as stated in provided contract evidence.
Hence the award of £50 compo.........why dont you read my original post.............D'oh!

    and as for

" It's a pity it no longer exists; the 200 off-peak minutes would be just perfect for people visiting from America to call home"
.................Don't know what you talking about there ???????
call america????????..........its 200min/ month to other O2 users and landlines only.

So please read the posts carefully!

As for you claiming your compo then its up to you if you roll over and die and accept the paltry free itemised billing.

    As for your statement

" So unless you can prove your assertion that the original contract sets out that the option is continuously alterable, I still can't see what you mean. My original contract has the tariff name filled in by me and does not have a detailed list of all tariffs available.

Please support your assertion that alterable options exist. Explain possible inclusion of cross-network minutes (such tariffs were rare in those days). Lastly explain why you 'believe' that it came with a N3310 - can't you remember?"

    ..............I cant be bothered!
  • OOOps sorry andy88.........I calmed down a bit now.

Are you actually still on the anytime 50 plan to other O2's and Uk Landlines??????

cos that Is interesting since O2 say it doesn't exist????????

I can see where the name comes from

Neither will I explain to you how to use your 200 minutes for international calls to 40-50 countries

where does it say in the contract about free itemised billing? 99p

You may not want to quote the contract to me but Otelo might be interested

I think it is you that is not reading what is written, or listening to what is said. The dealer said it is not alterable; O2 connections said so.

You have said that the contract is for life; so on the discontinuance of selling these contracts, existing customers will continue on their existing deal.

O2 haven't told you it does not exist or lied to Otelo to that effect. What they have told you is that it is not an option on a contract on sale; by implication anybody who wants to change their tariff will be offered tariffs available at the time.

Where you and they diverge is that you believe it is optionally switchable within the tariff definition, and they assert you are applying for a tariff that is no longer available. As I said, it's a question of semantics, and so will turn on the contract wording that you say you've submitted in evidence, but I haven't seen. If Otelo's judgment is predicated on your supported written submission, then you must be correct. But to set fire to someone asking for more details doesn't sound like the helpfulness you were originally offering.

So, as I write this hoping that we are calming down, look at Just-Dial or, my preference, Easy-Dial. You can ring international destinations via their 0870 and 0844 call-through numbers.

    2 reasons for that preference:
    1. E-D rates tend to be cheaper so they have more countries available from 0870
    2. J-D's T&C show that they will sell your phone number to telemarketers.

Of course, if you're at home, you can use 18866 or 1899 for international calls, but this is why I thought of it for visitors calling the States, which they could do off-peak. If the tariff is switchable, I could lend to someone for a while.
  • As I said 0870 nos are not O2 numbers nor standard (std code) landline nos so therefore do not come in the call allowance..........so dont know how I /anyone could call international with this package. Same for 0800's in this package.

You obviously dont know what you are talking about with reference to this package .........sorry!

As for proof of breach of contract.........then I have already proved this by submitting My contract terms and conditions to OTELO.

OTELO accept that on my submitted evedence of the contract terms there has been a breach of contract............Hence the compensation awarded.

As I said if you wanna roll over and die its up to you.

BUT I think your haste in questioning my information smacks of you having a hidden agenda in defence of O2.

0870, 0845, 0844, and 0800 calls come from the included minutes on the tariff.

January bill has 0:41:05 of such calls free in the included minutes
    February has 0:47:28 ................ free ...........

    The January bill is £0.02

Why would I lie about that on behalf of O2?
  • Then you are obviously not a customer of the package to which my thread refers.........as I can assure you they are not included in this package.

I'm asking for your help by publishing it here, for the information at least of other people who might have a better understanding of it than me.
  • As I said ,for this compensation to apply to you as a result of the precedent set by the conclusion of my complaint to OTELO, you first have to establish that you are a contract holder with the sames terms and condition's.

IE a BT Cellnet customer.....now O2 who took out a PUFFL contract promising

    1. Either 200 mins off peak /month to BT/O2 and landlines
    or
    2. 50 anytime mins to BT/O2 or landlines

    Excluding 0800 0845 etc . Standard STD no's and O2 mobiles only.

and the option to change between them once a month for life.

Also add on optional packages of 50 txts/month and or 20 cross network mins for an additional monthly charge. To be added for a min 1 month at a time and opted in out 1month for life.

Can't make it more clear than that.

Andy88 looks like you have some later incarnation of th PUFFL......sorry!
And as such have not suffered a breach of contract terms.
