Hi anneleyskiing,
Thanks for the update.
I'm pleased to see that normal has now resumed for him.
As soon as I receive his email I'll get back to him as quickly as possible.

Hi, Can anyone offer and advice or help with my situation please????
My Husband and I both have mobile contracts with Orange (prior to it changing to EE).
In April this year we upgraded and obviously a new 2 year contract started.
However, since starting the new contract my Mother has sadly died.
My parents live in france and I have been left with no choice but to move to France to look after my father.
'How wonderful' some of you may be thinking! But my husband and I have to give up long careers in the police service, disrupt our oittle boys life, sell our house to fund the move etc etc.
The move is borne out of family loyalty and there is noone else that can look after my father.
If we continue with the contract we will never be able to ue the phone because every single text or call (to make AND receive) will cost us a fortune and the bills will be sky high every month.
I have asked Orange to look at my case on its own merits and to see that I am not trying to get out of my contract because i have seen something better etc.
I am trying to get out of the contract due to unforseen circumstances that I have no control over and it will cost in excess of £1000 to buy us out of the contracts.
Can anyone offer any advice at all please? Any ideas?
I did send an email to the top bloke of Orange pleading my case but, as expected, this has gone into the ether somewhere and I am not expecting a reply.
I am losing sleep over this so would be very grateful for any help at all.
Thnkyou in advance. :-)0 -
It's a difficult one, Orange may offer a compromise, but you may just have to add it to the other costs of moving.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

My daughter is 14 months into a 2 year contract and for the past 4 months or so she has had trouble getting a signal. We contacted the provider and they sent us a new sim but the problem is still there. We got the phone for emergencies and letting us know if she may be late for after school clubs or if they finish early, not much good if it very rarely works!
The provider say that there are 5 masts within our home area. As their coverage is obviously crap can we get out of the rest of the contract and go with one that we know works?0 -

No network guarantees coverage everywhere, and the nature of radio means you may get blackspots in places,. If you had no coverage in one location you have a better chance that is a locality. You can try asking if the network has removed any masts, And you may want to try the sim in another phone to try and see if it's the phone at fault.
It may help if you say what network you are on.0 -
Cancelling an in-store contract before handset received??
I upgraded my mobile in a carphone warehouse on Sunday but the handset was not in stock and its due today. I then received a call from my existing provider with a better deal and tried to call carphone warehouse to cancel. I couldn't get through and went into the store today and they refused to cancel the contract as I did not have the phone.
They said I need to accept the phone when it arrives and then they will cancel it, which means I have to go back into the store. Is this right - if I have not accepted it surely they can just cancel the contract at my request?0
