Help me find my lost children

I'm a NRP paying 30% for two children (14 and 11) and I also have a daughter (4) living with me and 2nd wife.

I lost contact from my first two children because PWC is hiding them from me. Their doctor and school have been changed and her parents are deliberately concealing information from me.

I have a contact order but I don't know her new address so enforcement is not possible. They don’t even know they now have a half-sister and I think its only fair they get to meet.

My last line of enquiry is pull the plug on the CSA payments and that might flush her out and try to contact me.

If this is the wrong place to ask, can anyone put me in the right place?

If you stop paying it won't be her making contact, but the CSA - and they can't give you any info at all, so that is not a good plan.

    Hi

Kelloggs36 is right keep paying the CSA.

Go back to the court that give you the contact order and ask it to enforce it, as she is in breach of it.
Do this as soon as possible, the longer you don't have contact with your children the harder it becomes.
    Teacher 1+2 = 3
    CSA 1+2 = 30,000
  • I have already been back to court and has an audience with a Judge, I need to find her new address before any further steps can be taken.

Im in a unique position that redundancy can be "arranged". I would only tell the CSA to contact my employer.

Its only best for the children because they need fathers and its only fair they know they have a half-sister.

DO you have parental responsibility? Could you not ask the old school for details of the new school your children now attend? Or do you know any of the parents of friends of your children who you could ask?

Agree with Tatty Cath - do you have parental responsibility for the children? If so, then you have the right to gain information from your children's school, doctors etc. Even if the school or doctor cannot tell you where they have been moved to (as both would've had to have forwarded information to new school, new doctor) they could possibly forward on evidence that you do have parental responsibility on your behalf (offer to pay the postage!) and have them contact you with the information you are seeking about your children. If you get the school name - sorry, I'd be showing up at the school to speak with the family counsellor at the school and informing them of the situation. The children DO have a right to a relationship with both parents, and any other siblings that they might have.

I don't think that the old school would disclose any information regarding where the children went to, especially to an estranged parent. As far as I know, don't schools have passwords which have to be given before a child is even taken out of school for a doctors/dentist appointment?

Just noticed - why are you paying 30% for two children? Should it not be 20% plus a discount because you have one child within your household? Is it a private arrangement or is this through CSA?

The school, will have a confidential form on file. That will contain information on who has legal responsibility, if there has been a court order to stop the Father having any contact, that would be on there too.

The mother might very well have just put her name down and left the father off, therefore, the school will not be able to disclose any information.

    Try contacting Social Services.

    Good luck

If the NRP has PR they can get information from schools/doctors about their children. My ex gets school reports etc and my husband gets school reports etc, newsletters, arranges parents evening appointments. My husband even spoke to the dr of his child and the schools and dr were aware that the person was an NRP-and he didn't need permission from PWC either.
Re passwords-not necessarily unless the pwc has set one up. There is no reason whatsoever to withold information from the NRP unless there is a history of violence or any risk of danger to a child-and if he has a contact order it's highy unlikely that the courts think he poses any risk.
