you have the right to know where your children are, see a solicitor, they will find your children, basically they write to the child benefit departments ect, then once the address is known the solicitor will then write a letter to the mother and ask her to disclose the address and whereabouts the children are, if this letter is ignored a second letter will be sent saying that the whereabouts of the children will be given without her consent if she doesn't reply and give valid reason for withholding information.

I find this fascinating as my hubs hasn't been allowed to see his children for 15 yrs. We tried Courts /access etc but children were 'poorly' or at 'parties' etc etc on days of contact.

Several yrs later we tried another trace as she had moved with kids, and not told anyone where she was going, even Police couldn't find her when she started sending us nasty threatening letters, and malicious phone calls, solicitor in charge of injunction was sending all correspondence to her Mothers address.

BUT, then CSA in a Tribunal case didn't edit documents properly as requested so her full address, a fax from her work with address phone no etc revealed to us. We not done anything, but now my hubs aware where kids are it's uncomfortable, the ex will have poisined them, but we hope they will find us, as they have half siblings. Maybe we should push things and get solicitor involved as above?
