Hi to all the new may brides and grooms :) since last time i posted on here ive not really done much :o but we went and seen the priest last week and have now picked out all our readings and songs and we are going back to see him this friday to have an informal "meeting" to get to know us a bit better. We have pretty much everything booked, its just paying it off now which is the boring bit :( i still need to start my invites which i havent done yet, i starting planning my wedding well over a year ago thinking i had ages but its come around soooo fast! How are you all getting on with your plans?

We're getting married in Vegas so not all that much to plan for us. We've booked the ceremony package and it includes photos, dvd, limo, flowers so that's all sorted. I think there might just be dress, shoes, H2B clothes and rings, and we need to sort out some music. I'm also thinking I'll get a cake for when we get back from honeymoon. Think that might be it! It's only just over 300 days away but it seems so long!

i haven't been planing my big day very long but has anybody else found family trying to take over my sister is slowly driving me nuts lol im gratefull for all the help but i feel like screaming and stamping my feet shouting its my wedding and i will have what i want. she has just phoned to say her friend is going to do my cake , she's a cook but never done a wedding cake before and i have already found a friend of a friend who makes cakes that can do it for £80 .

Hello KatieJane, we haven't got insurance, I don't think we need it - we're getting married abroad and so have travel insurance for that, the ceremony is booked by credit card so we get the card protection for that and apart from clothes and rings which I'm not intending to be very expensive anyway I don't think there's anything else to protect.

On an exciting note I've just ordered two wedding dresses online :T:T:T, not due to arrive for 10 days though, how will I wait that long?!

From BHS, I don't want anything vary fancy (or huge, considering I have to get it to Vegas :rotfl:). I've since seen them both in the shop and I don't like one of them, the cream is too yellow for me, so hoping I like the second one but if not that's ok, hopefully I have plenty of time

Do you have a dress yet Katie?
